Abstract: A lighted hat as disclosed herein includes a light assembly that is integrated into the bill section of the hat. The bill section includes a rigid substrate that has features for accommodating the light assembly. The light assembly includes at least one light element, a power supply for the at least one light element, and a control element that controls activation of the at least one light element. The substrate and the entire light assembly (other than the light-emitting portion of the light element) is covered by the outer material of the bill section. The integrated nature of the light assembly results in a clean and streamlined appearance for the lighted hat.
