  • Publication number: 20220126683
Abstract: A pressure relief assembly includes a plurality of valve components and a cap configured to house the valve components. The cap includes a ring having a retaining portion. The pressure relief assembly includes a sensor apparatus coupled to the cap via the ring. The sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The valve components operate to relieve pressure when the predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The sensor apparatus includes a retaining portion engaging the retaining portion of the ring. A valve assembly includes a first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly configured to bypass the first valve apparatus. The valve assembly includes a main housing that surrounds the first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly. The main housing defines an aperture in which the cap of the pressure relief assembly is at least partially disposed in the aperture.

  • Patent number: 8474824
Abstract: A method of assembling a pressure sensing module includes affixing a pressure sensor unit to an alignment tool and indexing the alignment tool to a circuit board. After the pressure sensor unit is attached to the circuit board, a seal plate is indexed thereto. A locator feature indexes receptacle elements on the circuit board, alignment tool, and seal plate. An integrated seal module includes a mounting plate having first and second opposing faces, and at least one locator hole and one or more pressure passages extending therethrough. A unitary seal member effects a fluid seal between the pressure ports and the first face and the pressure sources and the second face. A seal member and locator bushings may be formed as a single, continuous liquid injection molded framework, including portions encased by the mounting plate. Pressure passages provide fluid to pressure sensors, which may be overmolded in the mounting plate.

  • Publication number: 20010030971
Abstract: A router interface that increases the data transmission rate between optical data routers is provided. In particular, a parallel router interface according to this invention includes: (1) a plurality of parallel channels, (2) a parallel-to-serial converter, and (3) a plurality of framers. Each of the channels can transmit a block of bits at a time, and each block forms at least a portion of a packet. The parallel-to-serial converter converts each of the blocks to a serial stream of data and provides the stream to a serial interface. The plurality of framers are coupled to the serial interface and are each associated with one of the parallel channels.

  • Patent number: 6229886
Abstract: To take advantage of 56K modem technology, a data signal must only traverse one digital to analog (D/A) conversion and one analog to digital (A/D) conversion on the return path to a subscriber. However, current data transmission for subscribers served by a Universal DLC system requires a D/A conversion at a voice switch of a public switched telephone network (PSTN), an A/D conversion at the central office terminal of a PSTN and a D/A conversion at a remote data terminal of a DLC system. This adds a D/A and an A/D conversion which causes 56K modem technology to fail. The present invention provides a telephone call routing apparatus installed between subscribers served by a Universal type digital loop carrier system, a central office terminal of a PSTN and a data network interface.
