  • Publication number: 20210310979
Abstract: A probe array comprises a substrate having an array of pillar probes which may be electrodes. Each pillar probe extends in a direction orthogonal to the plane of the substrate and has a first cross-sectional area. Each probe is disposed on a pedestal formed on the substrate where each pedestal has a second cross-sectional area greater than the first cross-sectional area and forms a platform from which the pillar probe extends, the platforms configured to support the underside of a sample structure which has been penetrated by the pillar probes to thereby prevent the sample structure from reaching the substrate. A plurality of channels is formed between the pedestals, the channels each having a width less than the spacing between the pillar probes. The channels ensure that a supply of critical fluids can be delivered to an underside of a cellular sample into which the pillar probes penetrate.

  • Patent number: 10444708
Abstract: The present invention relates to a display module including a fixed frame and at least two substantially rigid display organs. The display organs each include a portion displaying a pattern, said display portions being complementary to one another such that it forms said pattern in at least one relative position of said display organs. Furthermore, at least one of the display organs is secured and movable relative to the frame via a deformable link at least between a first resting position, in which the display portions are separate from one another, and a display position, in which said display portions are counter-affixed to one another to form and display said pattern. Lastly, said display organ(s) movable relative to the frame cooperate with an actuating push-piece arranged to transmit a movement force of this display organ by elastic deformation around its deformable link(s) from said resting position toward said display position.

  • Publication number: 20110053047
Abstract: A fuel cell with an assembly having a solidified membrane with two collectors incorporated, face to face, in the membrane, and two rigid covers between which the assembly is inserted. The rigid covers are provided with connecting end pieces and provide spaces on either side of the assembly. The assembly is produced by providing two identical subassemblies each including a substrate and a current collector removably arranged thereon, depositing an ionic liquid or pasty polymerizable membrane on at least one of the subassemblies in such a way that the collector thereof is completely covered, applying the subassemblies one against the other, and detaching the two substrates from the collectors after the polymerizable membrane has solidified, so as to obtain the assembly.

  • Patent number: 7846611
Abstract: A method for producing a fuel cell core including: providing two identical subassemblies each including a substrate and a current collector removably arranged thereon, depositing an ionic liquid or pasty polymerizable membrane on at least one of the subassemblies in such a way that the collector thereof is completely covered, applying the subassemblies one against the other so as to obtain an assembly having a solidified membrane with the two collectors incorporated, face to face, in this membrane, and detaching the two substrates from the collectors.

  • Patent number: 6124631
Abstract: The invention concerns a device comprising a first substrate and a second substrate intended to form a micro-system such as a sensor, at least one of the substrates being able to include electronic circuit components. The invention is characterised in that a layer of polymer is interposed between the first and the second substrate, in that the polymer layer includes at least one cavity which extends from the first to the second substrate and in that solder attaching means are provided in the cavity, said solder means assuring a traction resistant mechanical connection between the two substrates.
