  • Patent number: 10518514
Abstract: A liquid-proof seamed article including an elastic laminated panel and a corrugated elastic laminated panel joined at the sealing regions of the laminated panels is provided. In exemplary embodiments, both of the laminated panels are corrugated. The laminated panels each include a textile layer and a protective layer. At least one of the textile layer and protective layer is elastic. An adhesive pre-treatment may be applied to the elastic laminate panel and/or the corrugated laminate panel along respective sealing regions prior to forming a seam. Additionally, the laminate can be stretched to substantially flatten the corrugations prior to forming a seam. By substantially flattening the surface of the corrugated laminated panel(s), an adhesive may be applied such that there are no gaps in the adhesive. The corrugated laminates may be used as material for making garments. An apparatus and a method for making a liquid-proof seamed article are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6464840
Abstract: A packaging and displaying device for a spanner includes a backing mount member having an annular bearing wall defining a through hole, and an arc-shaped slot. A spanner is adapted to be held on a front wall of the backing mount member by a handle holding member that has a guide key portion extending through the slot to engage a retaining member on a rear wall of the backing mount member. An annular wheel member has a hub engaging a spindle portion of an anchoring member. The spindle portion extends from the rear wall through the through hole to engage fittingly a socket end of a clamped member disposed on the front wall. The clamped member has a nut-shaped clamped portion adapted to be clamped by a clamping head of the spanner.

  • Patent number: 6375005
Abstract: A packaging and displaying device includes a backing mount member, an annular wheel member uni-directionally rotatable relative to the backing mount member, an anchoring member having a spindle portion which passes through and which rotates with the wheel member to engage a clamped member. The clamped member has a clamped portion adapted to be clamped by a clamping head of a spanner when a movable jaw portion of the spanner is biased to turn towards a stationary jaw portion. A spanner holding member has an anchored end portion with an anchored hole to be sleeved on and to be rotated with the clamped member, and a stabilizing end portion provided with a securing member for hindering a handle of the spanner from moving away therefrom, thereby preventing theft.

  • Patent number: 5598924
Abstract: A spanner holder includes a plate member and a plurality of pairs of retaining members. The plate member has a front face and two opposite sides. The retaining members in each pair are formed on the front face at the opposite sides of the plate member and are aligned with one another. Each of the retaining members has a spring plate which extends from the front face. The spring plate has a distal edge which is connected to an intermediate portion of a top plate. The top plate is substantially parallel to the front face and has an abutting portion and a connecting portion which are formed at two sides of the intermediate portion of the top plate. The connecting portion has a press plate which extends downward and which is substantially parallel to the spring plate so that a receiving space is formed between the press plate and the spring plate of an adjacent retaining member.
