  • Patent number: 10752872
Abstract: In one aspect the present invention relates to a system 100 for automated extraction of multi-cellular physiological parameters. The system 100 comprises a morphogenesis module 160 for growing a plurality of cells, a monitoring unit 110 for monitoring the plurality of cells, a controller 140 for controlling the morphogenesis module 160 and the monitoring unit 110 to grow the plurality of cells and analyse the growth of the plurality of cells in order to determine the multi-cellular physiological parameters, the controller (140) further comprising a process modelling unit (146) for determining inter-cellular interactions in response to various process conditions. The multi-cellular physiological parameters may provide an optimised protocol for growing various tissue types. A further aspect of the present invention provides a method 200 for automated extraction of multi-cellular physiological parameters.

  • Patent number: 8707986
Abstract: A flow control device is disclosed. The flow control device comprises a pressure reducing valve. The pressure reducing valve comprises a valve body having at least an inlet port on a high side and an outlet port on a low side and having walls defining a regulating chamber, the outlet port in fluid communication with the regulating chamber. A diaphragm assembly is provided having a diaphragm and a stem for engaging the diaphragm. The stem has a base and a connecting arm. The diaphragm engages the main valve at a perimeter thereof so as to partially enclose the regulating chamber. A valve controlled opening cooperating with the connecting arm of the stem is located between the inlet port and the regulating chamber. The valve controlled opening is adapted to adjustably restrict flow of gas between the inlet port and the regulating chamber responsive to movement of the connecting arm.

  • Patent number: 7931162
Abstract: A novel type of sliding mount bracket, referenced herein as a regulator bracket, is adapted to be removably attached to a regulator. The regulator bracket includes a base and securing means for attaching the base to a panel that has louvers to receive the edges of the bracket. The regulator bracket further includes anchoring means for attaching the base to the regulator so as to inhibit movement thereof. Thus, when the regulator is secured to the rack, a display surface of the regulator is maintained in a fixed position, in which it is visually perceptible to the restaurateur or other user.
