Abstract: A generally C-shaped arm (18) is releasably and adjustably connected to the seat tube (24) of a bicycle to extend rearwardly and upwardly of the seat. At the arm upper end a plate (34) is affixed having a replaceable pad (38) which braces the body of the bicycle user especially during high performance use. A further embodiment utilizes a sphere (42) rotatably located within a chamber to provide a wide adjustment range for the pad (38). In another embodiment the C-shaped arm is composed of two parts (46, 48) selectively interconnectable to provide a corresponding variety of adjustments for pad to body spatial arrangement.
