  • Patent number: 11847390
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for generating factual and/or counterfactual data are described. This may have the effect of improving the complexity of data available for training machine learning models. The models may include, but not limited to, a probabilistic graphical model (PGM) and/or an agent-based model (ABM). Further aspects may provide for scrubbing actual data to create a data model that does not reveal the content of the underlying source data. Yet further aspects may provide for validating a data model.

  • Publication number: 20230139885
Abstract: The present invention provides therapeutics for the treatment of CD22-positive cancers such as B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). In particular, the present invention provides an anti-CD22 monoclonal antibody whose scFv as a part of chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) T-cells can target the first Ig extracellular domain of the CD22 antigen, the farthest domain from the membrane, for use in the treatment of CD22-positive cancers.

  • Publication number: 20220215142
Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for generating factual and/or counterfactual data are described. This may have the effect of improving the complexity of data available for training machine learning models. The models may include agent-based models (ABMs) in which the agent definitions are decoupled from the simulation. In one or more aspects, some agents may have attributes and associated behaviors that permit them to be reused in different ABMs to simulate different systems.

  • Publication number: 20220143085
Abstract: Relapsed/refractory T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) has a dismal outcome, and no effective targeted immunotherapies for T-ALL exist. The extension of chimeric antigen receptor T-cells (CARTs) to T-ALL remains challenging because the shared expression of target antigens between CARTs and T-ALL blasts leads to CARTs fratricide. CD1a is exclusively expressed in cortical T-ALLs, a major subset of T-ALL. The expression of CD1a is restricted to cortical thymocytes and neither CD34+ progenitors nor T-cells express CD1a during ontogeny, confining the risk of on-target/off-tumor toxicity. The present invention provides CARs comprising a CD 1a-targeting moiety which may be transduced or transformed into T cells. The resultant CARTs are suitable for the treatment of cortical T-ALLs.

  • Patent number: 10373171
Abstract: A system and method for making engagement offers. A processor monitors a navigation path of a user navigating a website. The processor makes an offer for engagement with the user on a first web page reached by the user upon following the navigation path. The processor monitors a reaction of the user to the offer for engagement, and updates tag data associated with a second web page encountered by the user while traversing the navigation path. The tag data is updated based on the reaction of the user to the offer for engagement.

  • Patent number: 10127321
Abstract: A system and method for proactively making knowledge offers. A processor is configured to gather information on interactions by a user with resources provided by an enterprise having a customer contact center. The processor anticipates need of the user based on the gathered information, and generates a query based on the anticipated need. Prior to the user expressly requesting knowledge relating to a particular topic, the processor proactively identifies and suggests the knowledge to the user based on the generated query. The processor receives feedback relating to the suggested knowledge and outputs based on the feedback, a relevance score for the suggested knowledge.

  • Patent number: 8261241
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for correlating log entries in a log file to the line numbers of formatted-string output functions in source code, where the formatted-string output functions contain instructions to generate the log entries in the log file. The method includes locating the formatted-string output functions in the source code, where each formatted-string output function contains a format string. Each format string is processed to generate a corresponding regular expression to match log entries outputted by the corresponding formatted-string output function. Each regular expression is associated with the line number of the corresponding formatted-string output function. The resultant list of regular expressions and corresponding line numbers is processed with the log file, where log entries in the log file are modified to indicate the line numbers associated with matching regular expressions.

  • Publication number: 20120052882
Abstract: In one embodiment, a mobile communication device is adapted to provide geography-enhanced blog search results. In response to a blog-search query entered by a user, the mobile communication device is adapted to determine a current geographical location for the mobile communication device and a home location for the user. The mobile communication device is further adapted to provide the current location and home location information along with the search query parameters to a search engine. The search engine is adapted to provide results corresponding to blog posts that satisfy the parameters of the search query, wherein the search results are ranked based on at least one of (a) the geographic proximity of a blog post subject to the current location and (b) the geographic proximity of a blog post author's home location to the user's home location.

  • Publication number: 20100198427
Abstract: A self-configuring and self-learning network optimizes itself for battery usage, and allows users to simply mount modules implementing new functionality to the vehicle at any location on the vehicle. The use of network zones and wireless gateways between zones reduces network traffic within zones by isolating data not required outside a zone from the other zones.

  • Patent number: 7430491
Abstract: A method and system for estimating weight of a trailer (10) being towed by a tractor (22) along a generally horizontal underlying surface. A portion of the trailer weight is borne on the tractor fifth wheel (26) and the remainder by rear wheels (18) rolling on the underlying surface. The tractor accelerates the trailer from an initial velocity to a final velocity over a time interval that is measured by a timer. The force that the tractor needed to exert on the trailer in order to change the velocity is also measured. Various data, including that force, are processed according to an algorithm to calculate the weight of the trailer by itself. Other data processed includes data (N0) representing the portion of the weight of the trailer borne through the tractor, data representing the change in velocity of propulsion (?v), data representing length of the interval of time (t), and data (?k) representing coefficient of friction of the wheels (18) with the underlying surface.
