  • Patent number: 11794835
Abstract: Anti-theft device of a bicycle wheel includes at least one braking unit having two pads acting on a rim of the wheel and an actuator to control at least one braking unit. The actuator includes two tie-rods pivoting on shafts and is actuated by a key acting on a key cylinder to press the pads on the rim of the wheel. Each tie-rod is driven at one end by a secondary transmitter piston interacting with a primary transmitter piston and driving a receiver piston holding the pad at its other end. The rotational movement of the key cylinder is converted into a translational movement of the primary transmitter piston by an indirect movement converter.

  • Publication number: 20210171150
Abstract: A stem that can be folded laterally instantaneously about a vertical or near-vertical axis for a bicycle that allows storage/transportation/parking and constituting an anti-theft system. The width of the bicycle is minimized at the handlebar and optionally makes it un-rideable. The foldable stem, supporting a handlebar, that instantaneously folds the handlebar along the bicycle, and is optionally ergonomically adjustable. The foldable stem includes a stem body secured in a hyperstatic manner by an optionally quick-release tightener to a steering pivot. The stem body directly or indirectly supporting at least one substantially vertical rotation bearing on which the stem arm can oscillate. The handlebar stem simplifies and optionally protects the storage, transport and parking of the bicycle.

  • Publication number: 20130319169
Abstract: A stem (10) for a bicycle handlebar having controlled release of the steerability thereof, includes a body (24) intended for receiving a stem arm (12) which in turn receives a handlebar, the stem also including a headset (40), elements (14) for attaching the stem (10) to the fork (16) of a bicycle including a head tube and a locking/unlocking element (18), wherein the locking/unlocking element (18) includes at least one key (56) placed in a cavity (54) arranged in the headset (40), a resilient element (58) for returning the at least one key towards the outside of the cavity, holes (36) arranged in the stem body (24) through which the keys pass, a ring (62) suitable for retracting the at least one key (56) through the holes (36) by a rotation or translation movement, respectively. The mounting also provides a headset arrangement.
