  • Publication number: 20080276737
Abstract: Crank gear (10) for a reciprocating compressor of the type equipped with at least one module which has two lines with two opposite cylinders. The crank gear is suitable for constraining the two cylinders to a crankshaft (20), so as to align the two cylinders, opposite each other with respect to an axis (21) of the shaft (20). The crank gear (10) is equipped with two rods (35), a series of connecting rods (30) and two cross heads (40) and (50). The series of identical connecting rods (30) is symmetrically positioned with respect to the alignment axis (25) of the two cylinders and furthermore the overall barycentre of the series of connecting rods lies on the axis (25) and on the axis (21) of the shaft (20) so that the whole of the shaft (20) is both statically and dynamically balanced.

  • Publication number: 20050123758
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plastics material with self-lubricating action which is particularly suitable for the production of sealing elements for reciprocating compressors, said material comprising a wear-resistant polymer matrix, preferably made from polyketone, within which are dispersed microcapsules containing a lubricating fluid. The microcapsules incorporated into the polymer matrix break up as a result of friction with the contact surface of the sliding partner, resulting in the escape of the lubricating fluid and a consequent reduction in friction.

  • Patent number: 6641371
Abstract: A device (10) for continuous regulation of the gas flow rate processed by a reciprocating compressor, wherein the reciprocating compressor has at least one first compression piston (35), which is associated with a first cylinder (51), and can create a pressure which is variable over a period of time, and a second piston (13), which acts inside a second cylinder (52), which is in free communication with the said first compression cylinder (51), associated with the said first piston (35), and which acts on an additional dead space (11). The device includes a third fluid mechanics cylinder (12), which moves the said piston (13) of the dead space (11), wherein the third fluid mechanics cylinder (12) is activated by means of a compressed fluid, supplied by means of an independent hydraulic system (14), in order to obtain continuous variation of the dead space (11).
