  • Patent number: 11971109
Abstract: A valve for a liquid system of a vehicle having a valve housing with a multiplicity of valve housing openings, a valve body that is arranged in the valve housing so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis and has at least one flow-conducting connecting passage for the flow-conducting connection of at least two valve housing openings of the multiplicity of valve housing openings. A valve seal is arranged between the valve housing and the valve body. A valve actuator rotates the valve body about the rotational axis, and a multiplicity of flow passages corresponding to the valve housing openings for the flow-conducting connection of the valve to a remainder of the liquid system, are provided. The flow passages are jointly formed from a single first passage shell and a single second passage shell. The first passage shell is simultaneously formed as the valve housing.

  • Publication number: 20240052936
Abstract: A multi-way valve for a motor vehicle, having a housing, in which a lower and upper chamber are disposed one above the other along an axis of rotation and are separated from each other by a separating wall. A lower valve body is disposed in the lower chamber for rotation about the axis of rotation. An upper valve body is disposed in the upper chamber for rotation about the axis of rotation. A drive shaft drives the lower and upper valve bodies. The drive shaft is torque-transmittingly connected to one of the two valve bodies and said valve body is torque-transmittingly connected to the other of the two valve bodies. A checking device checks for a correct alignment, and, in the event of an incorrect relative alignment of the two valve bodies in the peripheral direction, a reaction to the incorrect alignment can be automatically triggered.

  • Publication number: 20230364982
Abstract: A liquid tank for a liquid system of a vehicle, comprising a tank housing for storage of a liquid of the liquid system, wherein the tank housing is designed as multiple shells and has at least two tank housing shells that are joined to one another, and at least one flow passage of the liquid system, which flow passage is integrated in the tank housing. At least one of the at least one flow passages integrated in the tank housing is formed by two joined tank housing shells of the at least two tank housing shells.

  • Publication number: 20220349335
Abstract: A valve for a fluid system of a vehicle having a valve housing with valve housing openings, a valve body arranged so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation, a valve seal, a valve drive, and a plurality of connecting pieces corresponding to the valve housing openings. The connecting pieces have a circular flow passage area in cross section at a free end of the respective connecting piece, and the valve housing openings, corresponding to the connecting pieces, each have a substantially rectangular cross section. The respective valve housing opening is larger than the flow passage area at the free end of the corresponding connecting piece, and the flow passage areas of the connecting pieces widen in a diffuser-like manner from the free end of the respective connecting piece to the respective corresponding valve housing opening and merge in a stepless manner into the respective valve housing opening.

  • Patent number: 10794431
Abstract: A clutch actuation mechanism for actuating a clutch operator of a spring loaded friction clutch having at least a motor driven rotary disc for being connected to the clutch operator enables to operate the motor with an essentially constant and reduced torque, if a pin is attached to the disc with an offset from the disc's rotary axis, and if a lever has a curved contacting surface and if a spring forces the lever with its contacting surface against the pin to thereby provide an additional torque to the disc. Thus, the pin travels over the contacting surface when the disc rotates to open or close the spring loaded clutch via the clutch operator and the curvature enables to adapt the torque provided by the spring to the torque required to compensate for the clutch spring.
