  • Publication number: 20100048148
Abstract: A method, an apparatus and a communication unit for generating preceding feedback information in a multiple frequency radio transmission system are disclosed. A rank for preceding matrices, wherein the rank is constant over the multiple frequencies, is selected and a plurality of preceding matrices having the selected rank are selected. A different preceding matrix is selected for each frequency subset of the multiple frequencies.

  • Publication number: 20080203571
Abstract: A method of forming backside metallization on a substrate that includes a plurality of integrated circuit die formed on a front side of the substrate is disclosed. The method includes forming an adhesion layer of aluminum or an aluminum alloy on a backside surface of the substrate, forming a barrier metal layer on the adhesion layer and forming a metal layer on the barrier metal layer. An integrated circuit device is also disclosed which includes a substrate having an integrated circuit die formed on a front side of the substrate, an adhesion layer on a backside surface of the substrate, wherein the adhesion layer is aluminum or an aluminum alloy, a barrier metal layer on the adhesion layer and a metal layer on the barrier metal layer.

  • Patent number: 7162925
Abstract: An absolute or relative pressure sensor formed of a monolithic plastic body (2) includes a carrier body (3) and a membrane (4). A printed circuit including wire strain gauges and comprised of a polymer paste is disposed on the membrane (4). The membrane (4) is shaped so as to be very soft affording high pressure sensitivity, while the circuit includes electric terminals (7) which may be embedded in the monolithic body (2) during manufacture to eliminate subsequent mounting of these terminals in simplifying production and reducing cost. By connecting the membrane (4) to an element embedded in the monolithic body (2), membrane elasticity may be adjusted to provide the pressure sensor with a desired sensitivity for a specific application. The embedded element is preferably formed as a core of the membrane which is completely surrounded by the plastic monolithic body (2) using a vacuum container (8).

  • Patent number: 5655476
Abstract: In a load monitoring device of a mechanical type with a deformable basic body (1), the latter has a deformation part (2,3) provided with detent stops (5,6,7) which hold pivoting levers (10,11) in positions corresponding to different load ranges. When predetermined limit values are reached, the detent stops (5,6,7) release the free ends (8,9) of the pivoting levers (10,11), and these are transferred by springs (12) into positions corresponding to the respective degree of loading or of overloading.

  • Patent number: 4709548
Abstract: An arrangement of a soot filter in the exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine equipped with an exhaust gas turbocharger whose turbine housing is arranged downstream of the exhaust gas manifold. For purposes of achieving a fastening of the soot filter at the internal combustion engine which is favorable from an assembly point of view, space-saving and compensating changes in length, the soot filter and the exhaust gas turbocharger form a unit which is retained, on the one hand, angularly movably at the exhaust gas manifold by means of a pipe connection of the soot filter and, on the other, at the crankcase by way of supports arranged at the exhaust gas turbocharger on the housing side.
