Abstract: An overhead storage system may be raised and lowered includes a pair of spaced scissor mechanisms, each scissor mechanism having a first rotatable point of attachment to the platform and a second translatable point of attachment to the platform, and a spring-biased tensioner mechanism configured to maintain the platform in an elevated state when access to the stored items is not desired and a lowered state when access to the stored items is desired, the spring-biased tensioner mechanism configured to allow a human to manually lower the platform from the elevated state to the lowered state and manually raise the platform from the lowered state to the elevated state. The overhead storage system detailed herein allows a user to easily access stored items without having to climb a ladder by permitting the platform of the overhead storage apparatus to be raised and lowered manually.

Abstract: An apparatus comprising a spring-biased translatable member extending through a collar; a gripping unit including a platform member attached to the translatable member, the platform member configured to receive an adhesive member; and a capture cone attached to an upper portion of the collar. In one version, the gripping unit includes an adhesive member configured to fit into a recessed area of the platform member. The adhesive member has a “tacky” surface for gripping and controlling a light bulb during removal and installation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a candy storage and dispenser device. A multi-compartment dispensing device offers a unique device for storing and dispensing candy. Accordingly, multiple types and/or colors of candy may be contained in a transparent housing to create a very colorful presentation. Any number of candy types, including powdered, beads, pellets and the like, may be stored and dispensed with the multi-compartment device. The compartments are joined by a series of apertures which may, or may not, be regulated by a movable barricade. Then, when desired, the multiple candies are dispensed through the series of compartment apertures and a dispensing aperture. One version comprises a flute-shaped device having an operational mouthpiece.
