  • Publication number: 20220193680
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for connecting a tube or hose, preferably a capillary, comprising a core element having a threaded section for connecting to a connection socket, and a cap element which extends around the core element in the peripheral direction offset from the threaded section in a longitudinal direction, wherein the core element and the cap element are rotationally coupled to one other in a way that a torque applied to the cap element is transferred to the core element, and above a threshold of the torque in a screw-in rotational direction of the core element a relative movement of the cap element is performed relative to the core element instead of the transfer of torque, wherein an intermediate element for providing a coupling between the core element and the cap element is arranged.

  • Patent number: 11135593
Abstract: A capillary connection unit for analysis devices and medical devices includes a capillary having at least one end section and a free end, at least one connection element arranged on the end section of the capillary, wherein the connection element has an axial guide-through for the capillary, a sealing element surrounding the capillary, and a metal sleeve element which radially externally surrounds the sealing element and which has a first end facing the connection element and a receiving region facing away from the connection element, wherein the connection element is configured to be detachably connected to a counter element and to exert an axial thrust force onto the sealing element.

  • Patent number: 10335793
Abstract: The invention generally relates to a connector for fluid chromatography, such as gas chromatography and liquid chromatography, having a female assembly including a receiving member being designed and configured to receive, and releasably interlock with, a male assembly. The connector is particularly suited for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applications.

  • Patent number: 9562879
Abstract: A chromatography column comprises a pipe that contains a tubular metal casing with an inlay and sealing ring. The inlay is configured as a plastics material tube and is pushed or drawn into the metal casing and a sealing ring of plastics material is connected to the inlay at the end. Because of this structure, a connection to further system parts is possible, which is carry-over-free, inert on the inside, liquid-tight, optionally gas-tight, and pressure-tight. A connection element and connection connect the pipe to feed and/or discharge lines of a capillary system. Pipes, connection elements and connections of this type are advantageously used in low and high pressure systems, such as, for example, in an HPLC column. The use of such systems is advantageous in in-vitro diagnostics and in liquid handling applications.
