  • Patent number: 7980600
Abstract: A permanent joint includes a fitting, a sleeve, and a pipe. The fitting exhibits a base body, an outer body and a supporting body, wherein the outer body and supporting body form a groove between them, the inner peripheral surface of the outer body exhibits at least one latching groove, and the outer peripheral surface of the supporting body exhibits a sealing surface inclined relative to the axis of the fitting. The sleeve exhibits at least one latching projection arranged on the outer peripheral surface and at least one open slit running in the axial direction, wherein at least one fixing projection is arranged on the inner peripheral surface in the area of the latching projection. The sleeve embraces a pipe end under a pre-stress, wherein the pipe end with the sleeve engages into the groove under a pre-stress, and the latching groove and latching projection create a frictional connection.

  • Publication number: 20110104351
Abstract: The present invention pertains to the use of certain flavour enhancing compounds obtainable from an Allium species. In one embodiment, seeds from chives, leeks, ramson and other onions are used for conveying strong kokumi flavour enhancing effects on food products without imparting an onion or garlic-like off taste. These flavour enhancing compounds are also useful for the preparation of Amadori products, which are also used as kokumi flavour enhancing compounds.

  • Patent number: 7905713
Abstract: A method for operating a reciprocating positive displacement pump for the simultaneous low-pulsation discharge of a plurality of liquids, having for each liquid at least two pump chambers and displacement devices capable of movement therein, of which the one displacement device takes in liquid during the actual discharge phase of the other displacement device, and at the end of its intake stroke reverses its direction of movement, and, in a pre-compression phase, pre-compresses the liquid taken into the associated pump chamber and when a predeterminable pre-compression pressure has been achieved comes to a standstill, and remains at the standstill until the other displacement device has ended its liquid discharge, and, subsequent to this discharge, begins its own discharge. The method includes the steps of carrying out a pressure compensation during the subsequent discharge stroke preventing a pressure compensation between the individual pump chambers during the subsequent discharge stroke.

  • Publication number: 20110016696
Abstract: The invention relates to a compression tool (2) for the permanent connection of workpieces (14, 16, 18, 30, 34) having two pivot elements (4), which each have a compression jaw (10), and having at least one rotational axis (6), on which the pivot elements (4) are hinged, wherein the inner contours of the opposing compression jaws (10) form a receiving area (12). The present invention is based on the technical problem of disclosing an alternative compression tool (2), with which a permanent connection can be provided between workpieces (14, 16, 18, 30, 34) by axial compression. The technical problem is solved in that the inner contours have at least one sliding face (2), which is inclined relative to the receiving area axis (20). A compression tool (2) can thus be provided which, starting from a radial inward movement, performs a compression in the axial direction, nonetheless requires little installation space, and offers weight advantages due to a smaller axial extension, for example.

  • Patent number: 7793193
Abstract: In a method for error correction of packet data, in particular DAB (digital audio broadcasting) data packets, code words being used over multiple data packets, redundancy information for error correction is added while maintaining the original packet data structure, at the cost of a free data field or a useful data field. The cycle of the error protection is selected as a multiple of a minimum size for a packet length.
