  • Publication number: 20230303791
Abstract: The invention relates to a paintable material having a structured surface made of plastic containing amino groups, wherein at least a part of the amino groups on the structured surface has been functionalized covalently with vinyl groups by grafting a functionalizing reagent. Painted materials having structured paint surfaces can be obtained from these paintable material, wherein the invention also relates to said painted materials as well as to their production methods. The invention further relates to the use of a vinyl functionalization as a substitute for a primer layer or foundation in the painting of structured surfaces made of plastic containing amino groups with radiation-curing paints.

  • Publication number: 20190381866
Abstract: A high-capacity vehicle includes a vehicle floor and at least one refrigeration machine which is disposed under the vehicle floor and has a first refrigerant circuit. A second refrigerant circuit extends at least partially inside the vehicle. An intermediate heat exchanger is provided for heat exchange between the first refrigerant circuit and the second refrigerant circuit.

  • Patent number: 6039536
Abstract: An improvement in an electrical air pump having a housing with a pump mechanism at one end and an electric motor at the other end. The pump mechanism has at least one lightweight pump impeller made of plastic whose hub is press-fit on a shaft of the electric motor. The hub is provided with a plurality of grooves distributed around a bore in the hub which receives the motor shaft. The grooves form spaces between an inner surface of the hub and an outer surface of the shaft and the spaces are filled with an adhesive to bond the hub to the shaft. The grooves extend longitudinally or spirally along the entire length of the hub. The grooves are relatively shallow and have a depth of approximately 0.05 mm.

  • Patent number: 5823753
Abstract: An electrically driven air pump has a housing incorporating an electric motor in one section of the housing and a pump mechanism coupled to the motor in another section of the housing. The housing has a pump cover enclosing the pump mechanism, made of plastic and having an end wall to which a metal reinforcement member is joined by injection molding. The metal reinforcement member is formed as a ring having inner and outer perimetral surfaces and a plurality of radial slots are formed in the ring for passage of the plastic material therethrough to anchor the reinforcement member to the end wall. The slots extend from the inner perimetral surface of the ring towards the outer perimetral surface but terminate before reaching the outer perimetral surface. The outer perimetral surface of the metal reinforcement member is free and unobstructed for undergoing dimensional change due to temperature variation.
