  • Publication number: 20240035638
Abstract: A lens holding arrangement for lenses of an illumination device for vehicles is provided. The holding arrangement includes a surrounding body which surrounds a number of lenses arranged coaxially to each other and at an axial distance to each other. The holding arrangement also includes a number of attachment elements on an inner surface to which the lenses make contact with a front or back edge. The surrounding body is segmented with a number of segments that surround in each case the lenses in a circumferential angle range (?), and with fasteners for fastening the segments.

  • Publication number: 20220290829
Abstract: A method is provided for joining a pin member of a first component to a second component with a cavity, using an adhesive, to fasten the pin in a target position extending at least partially into the cavity. A distance (D) is provided between the bottom surface of the cavity and the facing end of the pin. A flexible spacer is positioned on the bottom surface of the cavity. The thickness of the spacer equals or exceeds the distance (D) between the bottom surface of the cavity and the facing end of the pin in the target position. The adhesive is filled into the cavity onto the flexible spacer, and the pin is positioned in the target position. The adhesive is cured to obtain a joint between the pin and the second component.

  • Patent number: 10539284
Abstract: A headlamp for vehicles with a laser module comprising a laser light source for the radiation of a laser light beam, and an optic unit to shape the laser light beam to form a given light distribution. The optic unit has a primary optic device for the imaging of an intermediate image on an intermediate image plane. The optic unit has a deflection device which is arranged in an intermediate image plane and which has a limiting edge by means of which a share of the light of the laser light beam is deflected along a light path in the direction of a bundling device, by means of which the share of light is deflected into a light distribution while forming a cut-off line.

  • Publication number: 20140177254
Abstract: An adjusting device for headlights has a luminous component supported on a carrier and a linear element for angling the luminous component around a horizontal and/or vertical adjusting axis, which is acting upon said component and arranged on an adjusting point, wherein in the region of the linear element, the luminous component is supported on areas of contact opposite the carrier and/or the luminous component by way of said type of deformation element such that if an adjusting force is applied onto the areas of contact in the normal direction, the deformation element is moveable together with the luminous component along an adjusting pathway running perpendicular to the normal direction.
