Abstract: A method for setting an axial position and gap dimension of a gap between one or more score blades and an anvil shaft of a rotary scoring device, includes providing a control system including a controller, at least one sensor, and at least one adjusting device actuated by the control system, and actuating the at least one adjusting device in response to the at least one sensor sensing a deviation from a desired state, thereby setting the axial position or the gap dimension between the one or more score blades and the anvil shaft. The method further includes actuating the at least one adjusting device is achieved as a result of the control system operating in a closed feedback loop, and sensing by the at least one sensor occurring with or without disruption of operation of the rotary scoring device.

Abstract: Disclosed are web-based CPR training and certification platforms comprising: 1) a controller device comprising: a first mode for collecting student compression data; a second mode for collecting student breath data; and a software module for transmitting the data to a server application; and 2) a server processor configured to provide an application comprising: a training mode, a practice mode, and a certification mode; a software module for providing a student interface; and a software module for providing an instructor interface. Optionally, feedback on student CPR psychomotor skills is provided in the form of a single-player or multi-player game played by performing the skills.

Abstract: An electrical fire sensing and fire prevention/extinguishing system which senses properties of electrical fires in cabinets having electrical circuits or circuit boards and detects sparks for detecting an electrical short in the electrical circuits or circuit boards. Upon detecting a spark, power to the electrical circuits or circuit boards is turned off to prevent a fire from developing within the cabinet. Furthermore, the electrical fire sensing and fire prevention/extinguishing system senses heat increases and smoke for activating a fire extinguishing device to extinguish a fire and turning off power to the electrical circuits or circuit boards.
