  • Patent number: 11652316
Abstract: A retention clip providing mechanical strain relief of a cable in a connector comprises two curved spring sections each having a free end and a base, the two curved spring sections separated from each other at their respective free ends by a cable insertion gap. A center section of the retention cable extends from the base of one of the two curved spring sections to the base of the other one of the two curved spring sections and includes a cable insertion opening. The cable insertion gap and the cable insertion opening are aligned providing a through-opening extending through the retention clip in a cable insertion direction, and each of the free ends has at least one discontinuity in a direction along its edge.

  • Publication number: 20230023404
Abstract: A system for sealing a terminated solar cable, the system including: a solar cable; a connector terminating the solar cable, the connector including a locking feature; and a plug including a locking feature. When the locking feature of the plug engages the locking feature of the connector to lock the plug and the connector in a locked state, the solar cable is sealed to provide safety from voltage and protection from dust and liquid.

  • Patent number: 11158960
Abstract: An electric wire connector connecting at least two wires includes a connector housing having a housing base and a housing cover, the housing base divided into at least two compartments, and at least two contact terminals each arranged in a different one of the at least two compartments. The at least two contact terminals are connected to one another by an electrically conductive member. The housing cover has a wire receiving opening receiving one of the at least two wires in an insertion direction. The housing cover is linearly movable relative to the housing base from an open position receiving the one of the at least two wires to a closed position terminating the one of the at least two wires.
