  • Patent number: 8528700
Abstract: An industrial truck (1) has a lifting device (9) including a movable load bearing implement (11) having a fork-shaped load handling attachment (14) and a towing device (20). The load handling attachment (14) has at least one load segment (14b) which is mounted so that it can be pivoted around an essentially horizontal pivoting axis (15). In one embodiment of the invention, the towing device (20) is located in the vicinity of the lifting device (9).

  • Patent number: 4576330
Abstract: The present invention embodies an upright cylindrical element or peg on the horizontal flange of a tray which is received in snap, reversible locking engagement within the closed bore of a cylindrical female element provided in a corresponding location on the horizontal flange on a lid so that the lid and tray can be firmly and securely locked together. The male and female elements are formed during the thermoforming process used to form the lid and tray wherein the peg or male snap part is provided with an enlarged diameter portion at its closed top end or head which is received in snap engagement past a smaller diameter annular rim formed in the opening to the bore of the female cylindrical element. The female element also includes a side wall which is tapered from bottom to top for receiving the head of the peg or mating cylindrical male element which snaps over and past the annular rim.

  • Patent number: 4382762
Abstract: Thermoforming equipment includes a solid state sensor adapted to determine when a sheet of thermoplastic material has been clamped between a forming mold and a heating platen. Clamping force is provided by a cutter blade carried by said mold around the periphery thereof. Electronic control circuitry responsive to the sensor maintains the thermoplastic sheet in clamped relation without being severed by the blade. After the thermoplastic sheet has been formed into an article defined by the mold, the mold and platen are permitted to continue to close beyond the point sensed by the sensor, permitting the blade to penetrate the sheet and sever the formed article therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4354816
Abstract: Plastic web advancing apparatus for thermoforming equipment wherein the plastic web is indexed by being pulled between a three-roller arrangement located on the downstream side of a forming press. The rollers are driven by a stepping motor for intermittent indexing of the web through the press. Upstream of the forming press, the web is threadedly received between a pair of relatively movable clamping rollers which upon cyclical opening of the forming press are used to tension and feed the web in conjunction with the three-roller arrangement on the downstream end of the press. Upon closing of the press, the upstream clamping rollers are moved away from each other to release the web, enabling the web to shift and diagonally position its edges in alignment with the forming dies in the press.
