Abstract: A method of assembling a frame for a personal electric vehicle includes assembling a safety cage defining an occupant interior by attaching together a plurality of tubular members including at least two left pillars and two right pillars each having lower end portions positioned along respective sides of the occupant interior. The method further includes positioning a floorpan adjacent a bottom of the occupant interior, the floorpan having a floorpan left side adjacent the lower end portions of the left pillars and a floorpan right side adjacent the lower end portions of the right pillars. Thereafter, the method includes fixing a left inboard surface of each left pillar to the floorpan left side and fixing a right inboard surface of each right pillar to the floorpan right side for securing the safety cage to the floorpan.

Abstract: A frame for a personal electric vehicle includes (a) a chassis floorpan extending axially between a front and a rear and laterally between opposite sides, the floorpan having a floor and a sidewall extending upwardly from a periphery of the floor to a raised peripheral edge of the floorpan; and (b) a safety cage mounted to the chassis floorpan and comprising a plurality of interconnected tubular members defining an occupant interior. The tubular members include a plurality of pillars spaced apart from each other along the peripheral edge and fixed against the sidewall for securing the safety cage to the chassis floorpan.

Abstract: A system and a method for conducting a wager, such as a lottery game or a pari-mutuel wager, is provided. In an exemplary embodiment, a series of at least four race events is identified. Each bettor is enabled to make a specified prediction pertaining to the outcome of each of the identified race events. For at least one race, the specified prediction includes an identification of the first four, five, six, or seven finishers in the correct order. For other races, the specified prediction may include an identification of the winner or of one of the first two, three, four, or five finishers. Each wager entry includes predictions for all of the identified race events. Winnings are allocated from a wager pool based on the wager entries having completely correct entries or entries that are correct for most of the race events.

Abstract: Methods and systems of conducting wagers, such as pari-mutuel wagers. In one exemplary embodiment an event, such as a horse race, dog race, a combination of races, etc., is identified for which a plurality of bettors may each place at least one wager. Preferably, the racing wager method comprises the steps of: (i) providing a bettor with a selection from among a plurality of runners at four races; (ii) accepting a wager from the bettor, said wager comprising (iia) a monetary amount, and (iib) the bettor's selection of runners for the first, second, and third place finishers for each of the four races; and (iii) providing monetary value to a bettor whose wager meets a predetermined wager success criteria.

Abstract: A wall panel assembly has a pair of co-planar panels with adjacent spaced end edges. A first partial column member extends substantially the height of the panels on one side and also extends transversely across the space between the panels. The first column member has transversely extending flanges each secured to a respective panel on one side. A second partial column member extends for substantially the height of the panels on the opposite side and also extends transversely across the space between the panels. The second column member has transversely extending flanges each secured to a respective panel on the opposite side to form a hollow column with the first column member and the adjacent spaced end edges of the panels.
