Abstract: The invention relates to a drive device, particularly for doors, garage doors, etc., comprising a guide device, particularly a rail or guide rail, extending in movement direction of the door. The invention is characterised in that the feed means comprises a first insert body which can be plugged at the ends of the guide rail into this and is provided with a connecting cable and which is held at the guide rail end and constructed in such a manner that it fulfils its function not only at one end of the guide rail, but also at the other end of the guide rail.

Abstract: The invention relates to a programming apparatus for programming transmitter/receiver systems for contactless actuation of doors and gates. For actuation of a door or a gate by a transmitter of a transmitter/receiver system a transmitter code is read into an associated receiver and compared there with receiver codes. The programming apparatus according to the invention comprises a computer unit for management of the transmitter codes and the receiver codes of the transmitter/receiver systems. In addition, the programming apparatus according to the invention includes an input unit for definition of the transmitter codes and the receiver codes of the transmitter/receiver systems. Moreover, the programming apparatus according to the invention comprises an interface unit for connection of transmitters and receivers, by way of which receiver codes can be issued at connected receivers and transmitter codes at connected transmitters.

Abstract: A safety device for a passage closure, such as a garage door, having a drive, a maximum permissible load value which can be set, and a control device by which the drive can be switched off, switch-off occurring when the maximum permissible load value has been reached and a signal S.sub.2 is sent to the control device at a time T.sub.2. A sensor is disposed in the area of the leading edge of the closure. When the sensor encounters an obstacle, it emits a signal S.sub.1 to the control device at a time T.sub.1. Upon reaching the maximum permissible load, the control device determines a .DELTA.T based on T.sub.2 -T.sub.1, compares it to a preset value and if the preset value is exceeded, changes the direction of movement of the closure.
