  • Publication number: 20170287271
Abstract: A process is presented to improve the method of playing bingo. The process allows player interaction to determine potential bonus prize amounts. In the preferred embodiment, the gaming method allows a player to experience various game environments during which the player's game performance is tracked through point tracking systems. A player participates in preliminary point games for a set period of time, and performance is tracked through electronic or manual tracking systems. Once a player finishes playing preliminary point games, he or she must have potential prize points verified. A player's potential bonus prize is correlated to verified prize points accumulated. To compete for set prizes and potential monetary bonuses, a player must take part in the primary game. In the preferred embodiment the primary game is Bonus Bingo which is a unique fast-paced paper bingo game.

  • Publication number: 20060055238
Abstract: A hydraulic regenerative braking system for a vehicle is provided. The system includes two hydraulic machines, each of which is disposed proximate a corresponding vehicle wheel. A transformer is in communication with each of the hydraulic machines, and with a pair of accumulators. Each of the hydraulic machines is operable as a pump, pumping fluid to at least one of the accumulators when the vehicle is braking. Each of the hydraulic machines is also operable as a motor, receiving pressurized fluid and transferring torque to the vehicle wheels. The transformer is operable to vary the pressure of the fluid received by the hydraulic machines.

  • Patent number: 5954496
Abstract: In a burner for operating a combustion chamber, which burner essentially comprises a swirl generator (100) and a mixing section (220) arranged downstream of the swirl generator, this mixing section acting upstream of a combustion chamber (30), the swirl flow induced by the swirl generator (100) is directed via transition passages (201) into the mixing section (220). At the outlet of a mixing tube (20) belonging to the mixing section (220), the burner front (70) of the mixing tube (20) is provided with at least one torus-like notch (71) on the combustion-chamber side. Thus the stability of the backflow zone (50) can be intensified, which has a positive effect on the combustion from all aspects.

  • Patent number: 4754106
Abstract: A compact, double-throw double-pole push-button electric switch is comprised of: a base; four electric terminals fixed to the base; a lower spring retainer pivoted on the base; a push-button key slidingly disposed and captively retain within a housing connected to the base; an upper retainer pivotally disposed within the push-button key and carrying a shorting bar between the opposing pairs of terminals; a coil compression spring captively retained at one end by the lower spring retainer and captively retained at its opposing end by the upper spring retainer; and a pair of double lobe cams connected to the lower spring. As the push-button is depressed, the camming surface within the push-button key comes into sliding contact with one of the two lobes of each of the cams. The cams rotate on the base and bring a fixed lever arm extending from the cam into contact with the shorting bar.

  • Patent number: 4576828
Abstract: Plasma spray coating of parts in a low-pressure chamber utilizes a linear induction motor drive system having gapped tracks for supporting and driving part carriers to flow in a continuous series of discrete steps through the low-pressure chamber where the parts are momentarily stopped for preheating and spray coating. Input and output air locks are sealed and unsealed by valve gates that move through the track gaps to optimize the sealing of the locks.

  • Patent number: 4309910
Abstract: A simple and inexpensive testing device for checking the tension of the strings of a tennis racquet, a badminton racquet or the like includes a string engaging member for engaging one of the strings of a previously strung racquet. This string engaging member may be bifurcated and be secured to a cylindrical block which is rotatably mounted in the front of a rigid elongated handle. A torsion element is mounted between the block and the rear of the handle, so that when the handle is rotated, and the torsion element is stressed, the handle will rotate relative to the block which is engaging the strings, and the amount of rotation of the handle relative to the block will be an indication of the tension of the strings. In addition, arrangements are provided for indicating that the string engaging member secured to the cylindrical block has been rotated through a predetermined angle.

  • Patent number: 3965399
Abstract: An electro-mechanical transducer for use in keyboards and the like which incorporates a capacitance change utilization concept. The transducer includes a plunger assembly reciprocably disposed in a housing therefor, in operative disposition over capacitance forming areas on an insulated substrate. The plunger assembly includes a key button disposed on one end of a shaft, an intermediate flange on the shaft and a flange at the other end of the shaft. The intermediate flange is positioned adjacent a frusto-conical elastomeric return spring and also serves as a resilient stop for the shaft. A compressible foam or sponge-like material having a thin, flexible metalized dielectric material on its lower portion, is mounted on the lower surface of the other flange. Actuation of the shaft downwardly toward the substrate causes the dielectric material to bridge the capacitance forming areas related thereto to cause a change in capacitance and transfer of energy therebetween.
