Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for managing peering relationships and applying peering policy between service providers and content distribution networks. Aspects discussed herein relate to establishing secure peering connections between service providers to exchange application and/or network information. In some embodiments, an application peering manager may apply peering policy based on token information or other suitable information configured to uniquely identify an application and/or subscriber. In other embodiments, policy enforcement points or other elements residing within a network may be configured to accept and/or apply peering policy to application sessions.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed relating to proximity detection of devices and targeted information services, such as information campaigns. Disclosed methods provide targeted campaigns to a user, such as targeted campaigns to presentation devices based on proximity of user devices near the information devices. Other methods provide targeted campaigns across various applications, while other methods provide for scheduling campaigns to premises device identifiers based on an event schedule, and other methods provide a hierarchal system for monitoring different sets of premises device identifiers when a user device can monitor for a limited number of premises device identifiers at a time.

Each caller that communicates with the contact may specify a different order for the contact's various phone numbers and other addresses. A communication management system may then automatically dial the numbers or use messaging addresses to initiate data communications in the specified order when the initiating party attempts to communicate with the contact. The order may specify simultaneous and/or sequential use of numbers or addresses. Alternatively or additionally, the communication management system may dynamically and/or automatically determine the communication order or a portion thereof. The automatic determination of the order may be based on a communication history or communication receiving of the initiating party. In some arrangements, the order may be partially manually defined and partially automatically defined.

The method includes providing a local proxy having an internet protocol (IP) address, wherein the local proxy is integrated with the local access network. The method further includes providing a client device having a signaling protocol client, wherein the client device is coupled to a remote access network that is external to the local access network. Additionally, the method includes initiating a session by the client device accessing the IP address of the local proxy.

One method comprises providing content to a first device, receiving a command to provide the content to a second device, determining the second device from a plurality of devices based on a proximity metric, and providing the content to the second device. The command can indicate a switch point, specify one or more non-transferable devices and block the direction of content transfer between certain devices.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed to enable a user device to gain access to a network via a trusted device (e.g., a network device). The network device can obtain a user device identifier from the user device and can transmit the user device identifier along with a network device identifier to a computing device (e.g., a server associated with a service provider). The server can determine if the user device should be permitted to access the network. The server can return the results of the determination to the network device and/or the user device. If the determination is that the user device should be permitted to access the network, the user device can also receive network credentials. The user device can access the network with the network credentials.

Abstract: A communication system provides a user with the ability to redirect telephone calls to a voice chat account and vice versa. In one example, a voice chat gateway may receive communication requests and determine whether communications directed to a first party is to be redirected. If so, the voice chat gateway may reroute the communication request to an appropriate destination. For instance, a user may request that all communications such as telephone calls be rerouted as a voice chat to the user's voice chat account. Alternatively, a user may request that all communications including voice chats be redirected to a telephone number. Users may further be allowed to call a voice chat account through a telephone network and initiate a voice chat with a telephone number through a data network.
