  • Patent number: 9283576
Abstract: A device for impulse ejection of a medium is provided having an ejection tube for the medium to be ejected therefrom through an ejection end of the ejection tube by way of a propellant in pulsed fashion in an ejection direction. The device further includes a membrane in the area of the ejection end, the membrane being elastically deformable during ejection of medium for forming a penetration opening for the medium, and a nozzle element in the ejection tube. The nozzle element is adapted to be movable along the ejection direction between a rest position and an ejection position, wherein the nozzle element effects a deformation of the membrane in the ejection position to form the penetration opening. A method of impulse ejection and a membrane for a device for impulse ejection of medium, and a method for increasing the range of an impulse ejection of medium are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20110240759
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for impulse ejection of medium, comprising an ejection tube (1) for medium to be ejected therefrom through an ejection end of the ejection tube (1) by way of a propellant in pulsed fashion in an ejection direction (15), a membrane (6) in the area of the ejection end (1), said membrane being elastically deformable during ejection of medium for forming a passage opening (20) for medium, and a nozzle element (9) in the ejection tube (1), said nozzle element being adapted to be movable along the ejection direction between a rest position (9?) and an ejection position (9?), wherein the nozzle element (9) in the ejection position (9?) effects a deformation of the membrane (6) to form the passage opening (20) and in the rest position (9?) effects a slight deformation or no deformation of the membrane (6) and wherein the nozzle element (9) can be brought from the rest position (9?) to the ejection position (9?) when medium is ejected.

  • Patent number: 7959432
Abstract: A device for cleaning contamination in heat exchangers, waste-heat boilers, or combustion chambers is provided. In some embodiments, the device comprises a tube, a blasting body, and a combustible gas mixture within the tube. In some embodiments, the tube is destroyed after blasting. In some embodiments, the device further comprises a second tube comprising a blasting cord that is connected to a fuse, wherein the second tube is coupled to the first tube by a hinge.

  • Publication number: 20060272684
Abstract: It is generally known that heat exchangers, waste-heat boilers and combustion chambers, that is to say spaces in which combustion takes place and which are provided with corresponding lines through which flows a medium to be heated, have to be cleaned at certain time intervals. The reason for that cleaning operation is that the lines through which the medium to be heated flows soot up at their outside due to the combustion process within the combustion chamber or are covered by a layer of combustion residues which impede or prevent the transfer of heat, which ultimately reduces the level of efficiency of the installation. It is here that the invention is involved, the object thereof being to avoid the previous disadvantages and in addition also to permit a cleaning process if the temperature within the space to be cleaned has not yet fallen to room temperature or a temperature below 100° C.
