  • Publication number: 20150140351
Abstract: A method for fixing on a metal workpiece a connecting element permits the friction-increasing, play-free, reversible connection of workpieces to be joined. The connecting element includes a metal foil which bears on its joining surfaces hard material particles, which are fixed on the metal foil by means of a metallic binder phase. The connecting element is fixed on the metal workpiece securely for purposes of assembly and transportation by welding involving the formation of locally confined weld points. Alternatively a component includes a metal workpiece and a connecting element fixed on it securely for purposes of assembly and transportation by locally confined weld points. The connecting element permits the friction-increasing, play-free, reversible connection of workpieces to be joined and includes a metal foil which bears on its joining surfaces hard material particles, which are fixed on the metal foil by means of a metallic binder phase.

  • Patent number: 8981255
Abstract: Provided herein is a method for securely fixing a connecting element on a metal workpiece by welding involving the formation of locally confined weld points that permits the friction-increasing, play-free, reversible connection of joined workpieces for applications in assembly and transportation. The connecting element includes a metal foil having hard material particles fixed on the joining surfaces by a metallic binding layer. Similarly, a component having a metal workpiece and the connecting element, which is suitable for the connection of workpieces to be joined in machine, plant, and motor vehicle construction, is also provided.

  • Patent number: 5930878
Abstract: There is described a device for coupling a thread, in particular a weaving thread, to a tentering means comprising a clamping sleeve (1) and a clamping body (2) axially movable inside the clamping sleeve (1), which clamping body can be connected to a tentering means at its one end axially protruding beyond the clamping sleeve (1), and in the vicinity of its other end forms a clamping member for the thread end (7). To create advantageous constructional conditions it is proposed that on the side opposite the connection side of the tentering means the clamping sleeve (1) forms an end-face inlet opening (6) for the thread, and has a clamping portion (5) widening towards this inlet opening (6), between which clamping portion and the clamping member of the clamping body (2) drawn into the clamping sleeve (1) and designed as clamping head (4) there can be clamped the thread end (7) introduced into the clamping sleeve (1).

  • Patent number: 4715851
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for handling two liquids which are to be mixed together in a sterile manner directly before administration, to form an infusion solution to be administered parenterally, the apparatus comprising a first container in the form of a flexible bag made of plastics for receiving the one liquid and provided with a hanging member and a stopper closure, and a second container for the second liquid, which is likewise provided with a stopper closure, the two containers being held together and their interior spaces being capable of being put into communication with one another for the sterile mixing of the liquids contained in them. The second container is a rigid flask which can be closed in a vacuum-tight manner and has a volume corresponding to the volume of both liquids.
