  • Patent number: 9878376
Abstract: The invention provides a clamping system (1) for a rotary tool (70), for example a milling cutter or drill. The clamping system (1) includes a base element (10), a collet (30) and a clamping nut (50), said clamping nut (50) friction-locking the rotary tool (70) within the base element (10) with the collet (30). In order to avoid a relative rotation of the base element (10) and the collet (30), the clamping system (1) has a form locking anti-twist protection which blocks a rotation of the collet (30) relative to the base element (10).

  • Publication number: 20170348777
Abstract: A collet chuck for clamping a tool shank, comprising a chuck body, a collet and a multi-part clamping nut consisting of a clamping ring and a threaded section rotatably connected to each other via rolling elements, otherwise connected in an interlocking manner, wherein the clamping ring and the collet comprise interlocking coupling elements designed such that the collet can be inserted into the collet housing through the central opening, facing away from the chuck body, of the clamping ring held on the chuck body, while the coupling elements move past each other, and then the coupling elements can be brought into engagement with each other by rotating the clamping ring relative to the collet, so that the clamping ring can transmit the forces applied to it by the threaded section during tightening to the collet via the coupling element and can drive the collet into the chuck body.

  • Patent number: 9832819
Abstract: The induction coil unit for heating a component that is rotationally symmetrical relative to an axis (7), in particular a tool holder (5), comprises a plurality of coils (19) arranged about the axis (7) of the tool holder (5) with pole elements, which are movable radially with respect to the axis (7), which are connected to one another by a common yoke ring (17). Upon excitation of the coils (19) with alternating current, the latter produce a magnetic flux running in the peripheral direction in the tool holder (5) for the inductive heating of the tool holder (5). The induction coil unit (1) can be moved in an oscillating manner by means of a drive (87) in the direction of the axis (7), the pole elements (21) moving in an oscillating manner along the tool holder (5). An induction coil unit of this type is in a position to heat a comparatively large region of the tool holder (5) despite a comparatively small energy requirement and comparatively small dimensions.

  • Patent number: 9707647
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for cooling an object that was previously subjected to a heat application, generally a multi-piece composite, particularly in the form of a shrink-fit chuck into which the shank of a tool was chucked or from which it was removed (cooling device), wherein the device comprises a pump, by way of which it generates a carrier gas flow, particularly an air flow, which is charged with a liquid cooling medium, particularly water, so that a coolant flow, the majority of the volume of which consists of the carrier gas, is created, which then spreads over at least the section of the object to be cooled.
