  • Publication number: 20220371423
Abstract: A motor vehicle shell of a motor vehicle includes a frame structure that is formed by crossmembers and by longitudinal members. The frame structure is closed peripherally and protrudes downwardly in a vertical direction of the motor vehicle from a base element. A receiving chamber for receiving an electrical energy store is delimited by the frame structure. A cover is formed separately from the frame structure and is disposed opposite the base element. The receiving chamber is closed downwardly in the vertical direction of the motor vehicle by the cover. An annular and dimensionally stable intermediary element is formed separately from the frame structure and separately from the cover. The intermediary element is disposed between the frame structure and the cover and the intermediary element is fixed at least in a liquid-tight manner on the frame structure by a firmly bonded connection.

  • Publication number: 20010038268
Abstract: A device (1) for the exposure of photographic recording material (6) comprises an exposure system (2) incorporating a multitude of light emitting diodes (12a-12n, . . . , 20a-20n; 40a-40n, . . . , 50a-50n). These light emitting diodes (12a-12n, . . . , 20a-20n; 40a-40n, . . . , 50a-50n) are connected in a combination of at least one series circuit and at least one parallel circuit. This enables a large number of light emitting diodes to be provided in the exposure system (2), permitting a high light intensity and, accordingly, short exposure times. The voltages and currents required to operate the device (1) are therefore modest and do not necessitate a high technical expenditure for their generation.

  • Patent number: 6149226
Abstract: A motor vehicle having a floor system which has an enlarged thickness in the area of the passenger compartment, the floor system being reinforced for improving the occupant protection. In order to reduce the danger of excessive deformations of the vehicle occupant compartment in the event of a side impact of a passenger car onto the motor vehicle, the floor system has a deflecting slope on its underside, which deflecting slope, starting from the side of the floor system, extends diagonally downward toward the longitudinal center plane of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5934580
Abstract: A document shredder (11) has a cutting mechanism (12) constructed as a chassis and in which the cutting rollers (16) are mounted so as to contrarotate. They are designed as disks cutting on both sides for particle cutting. Over the entire length of the cutting rollers (16) extend stripper elements (28, 29), whose individual strippers (31) are combined into a block by means of longitudinally directed connecting elements (33). As they engage by more than 180.degree., almost 270.degree., around the shaft cross-section (18), two stripper elements (28, 29) are connected in mutually fitting manner in the circumferential direction. The stripper elements can be made in one piece from injection moulded plastic and are also used for the connection of the two side walls (14, 15) of the cutting mechanism (12).

  • Patent number: 4919860
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for making porous carbon membranes and membranes which can made by this process. As starting material, a porous membrane from an acrylonitril-polymer is used. The starting material is pretreated with a hydrazine solution, followed by preoxidation and carbonization. The process enables carbon membranes to be made with selectively adjusted pore sizes and tight pore size distribution. The pore sizes can lie in the ultrafiltration or microfiltration range. The membranes are suitable for separation processes, in which chemically aggressive media are used and for high-temperature processes. They can be used wherever electrical conductivity of the membranes is required.
