  • Publication number: 20060166826
Abstract: The present invention relates to aqueous concentrates and solid formulations of pesticide preparations comprising copolymers which may be obtained by copolymerization of a) glycerol, b) at least one dicarboxylic acid, and c) at least one monocarboxylic acid of the formula (I) R1—COOH??(I) Where R1 is (C5-C29)-alkyl; (C7-C29)-alkenyl; phenyl or naphthyl. The copolymer of the present invention increases the biological activity of the pesticide or herbicide.

  • Publication number: 20050079194
Abstract: The invention relates to cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions containing a fragrance and at least one emulsifier comprising a) at least one alkyl chain and/or alkenyl chain having at least 28 carbon atoms obtainable by polymerization of (C2-C5)-alkenes and which is linked with b) at least one carboxylic acid, carboxylic acid derivative, carboxylic anhydride, carboxylic anhydride derivative, ester and/or amide group. Particularly preferred emulsifiers are alkenylsuccinic anhydrides according to formula (1) and derivatives thereof, in which n is equal to or greater than 4.

  • Publication number: 20050037926
Abstract: The invention relates to pesticide preparations containing copolymers. Said preparations are obtained by the copolymerisation of a) glycerol, b) at least one dicarboxylic acid and c) at least one monocarboxylic acid according to formula (I): R1—COOH, wherein R1 represents (C5-C29) alkyl, (C7-C29) alkenyl, phenyl or naphthyl. The copolymers increase the biological activity of the pesticides. Said pesticides preferably take the form of herbicides.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 14, 2002
    Publication date: February 17, 2005
Inventors: Ralf Zerrer, Gerd Meyer, Franz Scherl
  • Publication number: 20040198606
Abstract: The invention relates to a herbicidal composition comprising: (a) glyphosate acid or an agriculturally acceptable salt or derivative thereof, and (b) a surface active component having formula (i) or a quaternized form thereof or the amine oxide derivative thereof, wherein R1 and R2 each independently represent a straight or branched chain alkyl or alkenyl group having from 4 to 24 C-atoms, R3 in each (R3—O)-group may be the same or different and represents alkylene having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and x and y are average numbers such that x+y is in the range from 2 to 160. It further relates to adjuvant compositions comprising such surface active compounds and to a method for the control compositions. These compositions show improved herbicidal efficacy and may contain high concentrations of glyphosate.
