  • Patent number: 4169035
Abstract: An electrolytic cell for the treatment of aqueous solutions, comprising a closed container with an inlet aperture and an outlet orifice for water flowing through the container having at least two electrodes positioned within said container which can be connected to the positive and negative poles of a direct current source, at least one electrode being constituted of an elastically deformable electrically conductive body.

  • Patent number: 4121991
Abstract: The specification describes an electrolytic cell for the treatment, particularly the purification and sterilization of water, which comprises a closed container with a lower inlet opening and an upper outlet opening for the water and electrodes which are adapted to be connected with the positive pole and the negative pole of a DC source. In the interior of the electrolytic cell free movable particles are located whose density is higher than that of the water to be treated and which are prevented from leaving the electrolytic cell by suitable means adajcent to the inlet and the outlet.

  • Patent number: 4038592
Abstract: A voltage and frequency control circuit converts an alternating current input signal with inconstant frequency and voltage amplitude to an alternating current output signal with constant voltage amplitude and a constant nominal frequency which is lower than the lowest occurring frequency of the input signal. An amplitude control circuit converts the input signal to an ac signal having constant voltage amplitude. A rectifier circuit is regulated by an ac voltage source to provide positive half-cycles of the output signal from the amplitude control circuit during the positive half of the ac voltage source cycle and to provide negative half-cycles of the output signal during the negative half of the ac voltage source cycle. A filter circuit smooths and shapes the output of the rectifier circuit to provide a sinusoidal output signal having constant voltage amplitude and constant frequency.
