  • Patent number: 11985208
Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed provide a distributed caching solution that improve the performance and functionality of a content management platform for sites that are physically or logically remote from the primary site of the content management platform. In particular, according to embodiments, a remote cache server may be associated with a remote site to store local copies of documents that are managed by the primary content management platform. Periodically, a portion of the remote site's cache may be synchronized with the content management platform's primary site using an extensible architecture to ensure that content at the remote cache server is current.

  • Patent number: 8999323
Abstract: The present invention relates to a polymerization-curable composition for the preparation of biodegradable, biocompatible, cross-linked polymers on the basis of polyvinyl alcohol comprising: 5 to 100% by weight of (a) vinyl ester monomer(s) of one of the general formulas (I) to (III): wherein X is oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, or phosphorus; n is 1 to 1000, at least 20% of the n being ?2; the R1 are selected from hydrogen; straight, branched or cyclic, saturated or unsaturated, n-valent hydrocarbon groups having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, which optionally have heteroatoms and are optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from —OH, —COON, —CN, —CHO, and ?O, and n-valent radicals of biodegradable, biocompatible oligomers and polymers; m is an integer from 1 to 5; the R2 are selected from hydrogen, —OH, ?O, and the options listed for R1; and the R3 are selected from hydrogen, —OH, and the options listed for R1; 0 to 50% by weight of ethylenically unsaturated co-monomers; 0 to 10% by weight of (a)

  • Patent number: 8022155
Abstract: The invention relates to polymerizable compositions which comprise 10-80% by weight of a reactive diluent based on acrylic acid or methacrylic acid derivatives, and 10-50% by weight of a monomer of the indicated chemical formula which is liquid or which can be dissolved in the formulation. The formula may contain amino acid residues or peptide sequences, especially such that are specific of the collagen. These structural elements allow the enzymatic degradation of the polymers of the inventive composition.

  • Patent number: 4641572
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for centrifuging liquid from a wet material. The apparatus includes a centrifugal drum and a stripper member positioned adjacent the centrifugal drum. The front side of the centrifugal drum is open and is arranged to be closed by a cover. The stripper is firmly connected to a driving shaft when the centrifugal drum is driven by means of a sliding clutch. A brake is provided for slowing down the centrifugal drum. During the centrifuging procedure, the centrifugal drum and the stripper rotate with the same number of revolutions and the cover is closed. After the centrifuging procedure, the centrifugal drum is slowed down with respect to the stripper and the cover is opened so that the still running stripper removes and ejects the residues.
