  • Publication number: 20230192350
Abstract: A glass tube for pharmaceutical containers is provided. The tube has an inner surface at an inner diameter, an outer surface with an outer diameter, a first end defining a first closed end, a second end defining a first closed end, a first location 400 mm from the first end, a first intermediate location 15 mm from the first end, and a ventilation hole at a first vicinity. The first vicinity is between the first intermediate location and the first location. The glass tube can have a ratio of an integrated Na2F+ signal to an integrated 30Si+ signal of at least 0.10, where the integrated Na2F+ signal and the integrated 30Si+ signal are integrated over a depth of 100 nm. The glass tube can have a ratio between a fluorescence emission determined at a first vicinity and a fluorescence emission determined at a middle section of at least 0.6.

  • Publication number: 20210271292
Abstract: A docking station (1) is for an electronic hand stamp having an inkjet printhead. The docking station (1) includes a body (2) having a rest surface (4) for receiving a substantially flat bottom side of an electronic hand stamp and a border (5) at least partially framing the rest surface (4). The docking station (1) also includes at least one wiper element (3) connected to the body (2) and that projects on one side from the body (2). The wiper element (3) includes a wiper blade (17) for manually sweeping across an inkjet printhead.

  • Publication number: 20190002333
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and device for cutting glass tubes with a length L from a glass tubing that moves at a feed rate v1. The glass tubing is investigated for defects with an analytical device. The analytical device determines whether a glass tube to be separated is either defect-free (case 1) or contains defects (case 2). In case 1, a defect-free glass tube of the length L is separated from the glass tubing. In case 2, the device and method of the present disclosure determines a distance LA in the lengthwise direction between the defect and a free end of the glass tube to be separated. The distance LA is determined from the portion of the defect at the greatest distance from the free end of the tube. The device and method of the present disclosure then separates a piece of a glass tube or a glass tube that contains defects from the glass tubing at a distance LS from the free end of the glass tube, as a function of LA.

  • Ski
    Patent number: 4431209
Abstract: A ski has an elongated body part, a polyethylene bottom layer arranged on the body part, and a roughening provided on a sliding surface of the bottom layer over a supporting length of the ski and including a plurality of projections each formed as an elongated tooth from polyethylene of the bottom layer and inclined in its entirety toward the rear end of the body part, wherein the teeth are arranged with a density of between 1000 and 4000 teeth per cm.sup.2. The inventive ski is manufactured by dry grinding of the sliding surface of the polyethylene bottom layer with a relatively high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 4311308
Abstract: A tennis racket includes a handle portion, a frame portion which has strings mounted therein and a throat portion which connects the handle portion and the frame portion. An insert is installed in the throat portion and connected to the same. The insert is adapted to have secured thereto at least some of the strings. The insert may undergo elastic yielding in direction substantially normal to the general plane of the frame portion in response to the impact of a ball onto the strings and consequent transmission of the impact stress from the strings to the insert.
