  • Publication number: 20240051804
Abstract: A lifting system comprises a platform (10) with at least one inflatable body (21, 22) which is connected to a fluid conduit (23, 24) for the purpose of receiving an inflating fluid, particularly a gas under increased pressure such as compressed air. In a first aspect the at least one inflatable body (21, 22) is connected for rotation about a rotation axis (H) relative to the platform (10). The inflatable body (21, 22) bounds here a winding space (40) in which the fluid conduit, when not in use, is received in a state in which it is wound around the rotation axis. In a second aspect the lifting system comprises on or at the platform (10) a fluid system (51, 52) which is remotely controllable.

  • Patent number: 11771926
Abstract: A rescue tool (10) comprises a drive system which is provided inside a housing and which is configured and suitable for actuating a linear displacement of an implement drive member. The drive system is connected for axial rotation to a rotation shaft of an energizable drive source (22), wherein the rotation shaft of the energizable drive source (22) is coupled for force transmission to an axially rotatable spindle (30). The spindle (30) is coupled rotatably to the housing (15) by means of an axial bearing assembly (25, 26) and the drive body (40) is coupled for force transmission to the spindle (30) and to the implement drive member. The drive body is configured and suitable for converting an axial rotation of the spindle (30) to a linear translation of its own.

  • Patent number: 11034075
Abstract: A mould comprises a mould body (1) for forming therearound a body (60) with a body cavity which is accessible via an opening. The mould body is assembled from a set of mutually cohesive body parts (30,40). The body parts (30,40) are mutually releasable and removable from the body via the opening. An inflatable body (60) can be manufactured with the mould. The inflatable body (60) comprises a wall of elastomer material, which wall at least in an inflated state of the body bounds a body cavity accessible through a wall opening. • Patent number: 10703615
Abstract: A modular salvage system includes first and second inflatable lifting cushions, a connecting collar on an upper side and underside and between each successive lifting cushion for enclosing the inflatable lifting cushion. The connecting collar is provided on a peripheral side with attachment points pivotally connectable to first and second radial shackles. The first radial shackle is pivotally connectable to the connecting collar and the other connecting collar includes a coupling segment that is pivotally connectable to a second radial shackle of an uppermost connecting collar. Each coupling segment is connectable in an axial direction to a subsequent uppermost coupling segment by an axial shackle. The axial shackle includes first and second bending-resistant segments between which a flexible segment extends. The tensile strengths of the bending-resistant segments and the flexible segment are substantially equal. Additionally, a related lifting module, container, and method for assembling are provided.

  • Patent number: 9045981
Abstract: A safety device 1 includes a telescopic tubular body 2 with an axial space which is bounded by an outer casing 3 and through which an extending part 4 is axially movable. The outer casing 3 and the extending part 4 are adjustable relative to each other between a relatively compact starting position and at least one extended position. At least one blocking body 7 is provided in the space between the outer casing 3 and the extending part 4 which blocks a movement of the extending part 4 into the outer casing 3, while the at least one blocking body 7 allows a reverse movement of the extending part out of the outer casing.

  • Publication number: 20090205487
Abstract: A pressure cylinder comprises a cylinder housing with a cylinder space in which a fitting piston is axially movable. A piston rod (1) of a composite material extends from the piston. The piston rod (1) comprises a layer of core material under a surrounding outer jacket. The layer of core material (3) is constructed from composite material fibres oriented parallel to a longitudinal axis of the piston rod and straightened, and the outer jacket (5) is constructed from composite material fibres wound at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis. Thus provided is a pressure cylinder with a piston rod (1) of relatively light weight, which can withstand a relatively high pressure load. Less composite material is hereby required for the piston rod (1) while the strength remains the same.
