    Abstract: A nautical boat mooring apparatus which includes a rigid open-ended tubular member which forms a longitudinal open-ended chamber therein, a piston assembly providing a piston slideably positionable within the longitudinal open-ended chamber and a rod portion, the rod portion being extensible out of one end of the longitudinal chamber, a first spring for urging the piston toward the second end of the tubular member, a second spring for urging the piston toward the first end of the tubular member, a first coupling device for removably affixing the first end of the tubular member to a supporting surface, and a second device for removably affixing another portion of the piston assembly to a nautical vessel. Both coupling devices employ ball and socket arrangements to permit the apparatus to accommodate yaw, roll and pitch of the vessel.
