  • Patent number: 8550834
Abstract: A circular plug-type connector for a multi-core electrical cable, which is provided in each case with male or female contacts, possesses an inner insulating body for holding the individual male or female contacts in its interior. This insulating body is provided with its cable-side end region in a sleeve-shaped holding ring in such a way that it can be plugged in. A top piece can be fastened rotatably on the holding ring. The top piece is formed with a thread for connection to a mating plug-type connector. A sleeve-shaped housing, which can be assembled from at least two housing parts, can be fastened with its one axial end on the cable-side end region of the holding ring. The cable can be inserted into the housing and fastened thereon with resistance to tensile stress at the other axial end of the housing.

  • Patent number: 7476128
Abstract: Electrical wiring has at least one electrical cable, which can be fixed on a round plug-type connector, and a holding apparatus for the cable. The cable ends in the interior of a tubular connecting stub, onto which, at one end, a union nut can be screwed, which nut leaves free a central opening for the cable. A hollow-cylindrical molding is capable of being pressed against the tubular connecting stub in the axial direction by the union nut. The sheath of the cable is capable of being fixed directly or indirectly on the hollow-cylindrical molding. A slotted sleeve is provided in the axial direction between the tubular connecting stub and the hollow-cylindrical molding. This slotted sleeve and the molding are capable of being pushed partially one inside the other. A stop is provided on the molding such that, in the case of rotational twisting of the slotted sleeve, the sleeve can be placed with one of its two free longitudinal edges on the stop.

  • Patent number: 6863567
Abstract: Electrical wiring having an electrical cable with strain relief, wherein the cable is attached either to the housing wall which bounds a circular cylindrical housing opening in a housing which holds electrical devices, or to a round plug connector which has a circular cylindrical cross section, in each case by means of strain relief. A hollow cylindrical molding can be fitted to the tubular connecting stub in the axial direction. This molding can be pressed against the tubular connecting stub by the union nut in the axial direction. A hollow cylindrical connecting stub is provided on the molding such that it protects in the axial direction, and can be placed against the cable sheath from the inside of the cable. A sleeve can be firmly pressed against the cable in the cross-sectional area of the projecting connecting stub, so that the cable sheath can be held by pinching it.

  • Publication number: 20030073340
Abstract: Electrical wiring has an electrical cable (16, 16.2) with strain relief. The cable (16, 16.2) is attached either to the housing wall (12) which bounds a circular cylindrical housing opening (10) in a housing which holds electrical devices, or to a round plug connector (80) which has a circular cylindrical cross section, in each case by means of strain relief, in which, with regard to the cable (16) which can be passed through the housing opening (10), said cable can be guided in the interior of a tubular connecting stub (18) which can be inserted in the housing opening, or in which, with regard to the cable (16.2) which can be connected to a round plug connector (80), said cable ends in the interior of a tubular connecting stub (18.2). A union nut (30.2) which leaves free a central opening (48) for the cable (16.2) can be screwed to each end of the tubular connecting stub. A hollow cylindrical molding (40, 40.2) can be fitted to the tubular connecting stub (18, 18.2) in the axial direction.
