    Abstract: A louver assembly includes a frame that forms a frame opening. The frame has a front face and a hollow recess in the front face. A series of parallel slats are mounted in the frame opening. The slats are pivotally displaceable between an open position and a closed position. An actuator connected with the slats is displaceable relative to the frame to pivot the slats between the open position and the closed position. The actuator may be inserted into the recess substantially flush with the front face of the frame when the slats are pivoted to the closed position.
