  • Patent number: 10837216
Abstract: A garage door security system includes a camera configured to capture images of vehicles that are in proximity of a garage door of a garage. A database stores identification information for a plurality of vehicles. The identification information includes at least one of make, model, color, license plate number. An image and data analytic controller analyzes the images of vehicles captured by the camera using the identification information for the plurality of vehicles stored in the local database in order to identify vehicles authorized to enter the garage. A motor control opens the garage door for vehicles authorized to enter the garage.

  • Publication number: 20190392691
Abstract: An entry security system that includes an exterior module and an interior module. The exterior module includes a doorbell activator and a camera configured to capture facial images of people that are in proximity of the entrance to the building when the doorbell activator is activated. The interior module includes a database that stores identification information for a plurality of people. The identification information includes names and image information pertaining to the plurality of people. The image information is useful for facial recognition of the plurality of people. An image and data analytic controller analyzes the facial images captured by the camera using the image information pertaining to the plurality of people stored in the local database in order to identify people whose facial images were captured by the camera.

  • Patent number: 5142219
Abstract: A reference generator system that operates in either a current-controlled mode or a voltage-controlled mode and includes a power-down circuit connected to the operational amplifier to power down the operational amplifier when the reference generator is switched to the current-controlled mode.

  • Patent number: 5132556
Abstract: In a CMOS bandgap reference circuit, the respective collectors of two lateral parasitic NPN transistors are connected to the two nodes of a current mirror. The emitter circuit of the first parasitic NPN transistor includes a resistor, whereby the base-emitter junction current densities of the parasitic NPN transistors are maintained at a preselected ratio. A second resistor common to the emitter circuit of both parasitic NPN transistors is provided, whereby .DELTA.V.sub.BE having a positive temperature coefficient and V.sub.BE of the second parasitic NPN transistor having a negative temperature coefficient cancel one another. The temperature independent voltage across the common resistor and the base-emitter junction of the second transistor is buffered by a unity gain amplifier. The output of the unity gain amplifier is used to drive the parasitic NPN transistors and also is furnished as the reference voltage.

  • Patent number: 4694501
Abstract: An AM stereo receiver uses an AM detector (208) and an asynchronous PM detector (206) to decode AM stereo signals. The AM stereo broadcast signal has a carrier signal phase modulated with a modified phase shifted left channel minus right channel (L-R) audio signal, which is then amplitude modulated with a phase shifted left channel plus right channel (L+R) audio signal. The AM detector (208) within the receiver decodes the phase shifted L+R signal, while the PM detector 206 within the receiver decodes the modified phase shifted L-R signal. A phase shifter (214) restores the L+R and L-R signals to their proper phase relationship. A matrix circuit (228) regenerates the left and right channel signals from the L+R and L-R signals.
