Abstract: A method for forming a discharge channel (6) in a flexible packaging during the manufacture thereof. The channel is adjacent to at least one of the edges of the packaging and extends from one end to the other of said packaging. At least one of the channel ends is sealed and in internal communication with the main compartment while the other may be opened for pouring. According to the method, a strip-like partition is inserted between the two side walls of the packaging and at least one longitudinal mid-portion (13) of the strip constitutes said partition and has evenly spaced communicating means (8) arranged above the bottom seal (10) of the packaging, and each side wall of the packaging is sealed to one edge of the partition. Alternative embodiments of such a packaging are also disclosed.

Abstract: An electronic timepiece with hands 1, 2 has a plurality of auxiliary digital displays 5, 6 and 7 for indicating the same parameter, e.g., the day of the month. Only the digital display not interfering, at a given moment, with the analog time display is activated by a control circuit which decodes which of three sectors a, b and c are occupied by the hands. The display in the unoccupied sector, or one of the two unoccupied sectors, is always selected.

Abstract: Display elements of an electrochromic display device are formed of two lines of electrochromic material separated by a zone devoid of such material. The areas of the lines of every element are equal to produce equal contrast effects in response to equal activation charges applied thereto.

Abstract: A seven segment display device for forming a centered number 1. Six of the segments are disposed on the sides of a quadrangular surface. Each of two long sides of the surface are provided with a pair of segments, with each of the pair of segments including a longitudinal portion lying on the long side of the surface and a transverse portion pointing toward the center of the surface. The transverse portions are arranged adjacent each other at approximately the middle of the long sides. The transverse portions of each pair of segments are extending towards but spaced from the transverse portions of the other pair of segments. Each of the short sides of the surface are provided with a segment. The seventh segment is provided on the longitudinal axis of the surface between said transverse portions.

Abstract: A timepiece having seven aligned signs for representing the month of the year, the day of the week, and morning or evening of the day. The center one of the seven signs is configured differently than the other six signs to indicate a special day of the week. Each sign has electro-optic display means to indicate the particular day of the week.

Abstract: This wrist-watch is characterized by the fact that the display device is arranged on one of the lateral sides of the watch casing, thus leaving its upper surface free, the wristlet being secured to the casing by one of its ends and being applied, by its opposite end, onto the said upper surface of the casing to which it is removably secured.

Abstract: A digital display device in which the digits 0, 1, 2 . . . . . 9 are formed by the combination of electrically activated elements. This device is characterized by the fact that the digits are all formed from a diagonal surface element comprising at least two superimposed portions, the upper portion of which is constant and is activated for the display of all the digits while the lower portion is activated or not, depending on the digit displayed.
