  • Patent number: 8346467
Abstract: A roof-cleaning device for moving side windows of a convertible vehicle an appropriate distance clear of a roof hinged to the vehicle body, and capable of detecting an event in or in the surroundings of the vehicle, includes: a first motion detector designed to occupy a first operational state and a second standby state, and a second detector coupled to the first detector and of lower power consumption, wherein I. with the first detector in the standby state, if the second detector detects an event to which it is sensitive, then the first detector switches into the operational state so that it can play a part in moving the window clear of the roof, II. and if, while in this operational state, the first detector detects the presence, intervention or action of the individual, then the windows are rolled down before the door is, or can be, opened.

  • Patent number: 8213869
Abstract: A method and device for filtering electromagnetic interference generated by the antenna of a transmitter on a sensor sensitive to electromagnetic waves, characterized in that it includes: vi. elements suitable for sampling the signal received by the sensor, vii. elements for count down the elapsed time, called the detection time, after the sampled signal has exceeded a threshold value, the signal, before exceeding the threshold value, being in a range of standard values, viii. elements for comparing in real time the detection time with a threshold time value, ix. elements suitable for providing a diagnosis of electromagnetic interference to be filtered if the sampled signal reverts to a standard value after a detection time of less than the threshold time value, and a diagnosis of an uninterfered sampled signal if this is not the case, x. elements for generating an output signal from the sensor eliminating the diagnosed electromagnetic interference.

  • Publication number: 20110054818
Abstract: The invention relates to a charge transfer-type sensor, including a measuring device (Cx), for, during a succession of periodic time intervals (DT1), storing a quantity of electrical charges that is a function of a parameter to be measured, an accumulation device (Cs) for discharging, between two intervals (DT1), the charges contained in the measuring device (Cx), a switching device (M1) for, during the intervals (DT1), electrically connecting the measuring device (Cs) to a source (VCC) of electrical charges and for, outside the intervals (DT1), electrically connecting the measuring device (Cx) to the accumulation device (Cs), a comparator (COMP) for comparing an electrical signal (VS) at the terminals of the accumulation device with a reference signal (VREF) and supplying an end-of-measurement signal (SD), a microcontroller (MP) for, when it receives the end-of-measurement signal (SD), determining a value of the parameter to be measured, a generator (GEN) of periodic command signals external to the microc

  • Patent number: 7184876
Abstract: Device for determining the position of an engine includes: a sensor that has a rotary part and a fixed part, whereby said fixed part comprises: elements (for generating a first signal based on the position of the rotary part relative to the fixed part), Second elements for generating a second phase-shifted signal relative to the first signal, elements for comparing the value of the second signal to a reference value, elements for detecting at least one characteristic event on the first signal, for generating a third signal of binary type, and for alternating the binary signal from a first value to a second after detection of at least one of the characteristic events if the result of the comparison is positive, engine control elements that include members for detecting the alternations of third signal and a counter.
