  • Publication number: 20240080304
Abstract: A device and a method for the anonymous transmission of information, the transmission being a point-to-multipoint communication or a multipoint-to-multipoint communication between members of one and the same trusted network, a trusted network being predefined by a plurality of members and a plurality of independent proxies, the communication within a trusted network taking place on an anonymization network platform that masks the IP addresses of the members of the trusted network, the method being computer-implemented and comprising steps of: a member of a trusted network, comprising N? members and N proxies, generating a plurality N of complementary data fragments, from an initial data packet, such that recombining the N complementary fragments makes it possible to reconstruct the initial data packet; the sending member transmitting, via the anonymization network platform, each generated complementary fragment to an independent proxy from among the N proxies, respectively; each independent proxy retransmitti

  • Patent number: 11367263
Abstract: Devices and techniques are generally described for image-guided three dimensional (3D) modeling. In various examples, a first two-dimensional (2D) image representing an object may be received. A first three-dimensional (3D) model corresponding to the first 2D image may be determined from among a plurality of 3D models. A first selection of a first portion of the first 2D image may be received. A second selection of a second portion of the first 3D model corresponding to the portion of the first 2D image may be received. At least one transformation of the first 3D model may be determined based at least in part on differences between a geometric feature of the first portion of the first 2D image and a geometric feature of the second portion of the first 3D model. A modified 3D model may be generated by applying the at least one transformation to the first 3D model.

  • Publication number: 20050221924
Abstract: A tubular baseball bat comprising a substantially full length core shaft of preferably constant cross-section, including a handle portion, and a barrel with a gap or separation between the core shaft and barrel, the core shaft and barrel being connected at two or more locations. Embodiments include bats with long barrels without taper sections, bats with taper sections integral with the barrels, bats with separate taper sections which may be of non-circular cross-section, bats with flexible circumferential connecting structures, bats with folded barrel end portions, and bats with resilient means between the core shaft and barrel. Such bats can have larger hitting areas, larger sweetspots, higher performance, and provide minimal sting to a player's hands.

  • Publication number: 20050176531
Abstract: A light-weight polymer composite endcap, or plug, for a tubular baseball bat provides structural support to the bat barrel end. The endcap permanently bonded to the bat barrel end with a high strength structural adhesive closes off the hollow barrel end. The endcap has a simple geometric shape and has a relatively uniform and thin wall thickness. The light weight achieved by the polymer composite endcap is useful in meeting reduced standards established by regulating bodies and more importantly improves player bat control and swing-speed during the bat swinging phase.
