Abstract: In a method for producing a composite capsule, a liquid or pasty substance, in particular a dental composition, is introduced into a receiving space of a capsule part. The receiving space is surrounded by a capsule wall, which has a discharge opening. A plunger is introduced into the receiving space and a capsule extension leads up to the capsule part. A connection is established between the capsule part and the capsule extension. With a corresponding composite capsule, it becomes possible to dispense an increased volume of the substance from the composite capsule.

Abstract: An application device for dental compositions. At the rear end, the application device is provided with a connection for a discharge container. A channel extends from the connection to a channel opening arranged at the front end. Flat protrusions are formed at the front end, which enclose therebetween a receiving space for the dental composition. Using the receiving space, the excess dental composition can be taken up again and removed.
