  • Patent number: 10498970
Abstract: “Programmed manual modes” mimic the processes a digital camera user goes through manually, but at the speed of the processor built in the camera. Each program preferably includes an exposure condition and a set of exposure parameters, with each exposure parameter having a plurality of exposure settings and a plurality of exposure setting priorities. The processor automatically applies an exposure value from each exposure setting and determines if the exposure condition is met. If the exposure condition is met, the processor captures and stores the image. If not, the processor applies a different exposure value and determines if the exposure condition is met based on the different exposure value.

  • Patent number: 9674455
Abstract: “Programmed manual modes” mimic the processes a digital camera user goes through manually, but at the speed of the processor built in the camera. Each program preferably includes an exposure condition and a set of shooting parameters, with each parameter having a range and a priority. The processor automatically applies the parameters in sequential fashion within their ranges based upon their priorities, causing the camera to take a picture if and when the exposure condition is met. The shooting parameters may include one or more of ISO, aperture and shutter speed, and the ranges generally include upper or lower limits. The program may be created in the camera or downloaded into the camera from an external device, and the program may be written in a format that can be shared with other camera users. The program preferably includes one or more pre-compose settings to establish a set of initial shooting conditions.

  • Publication number: 20170145155
Abstract: Objects can be produced using an additive manufacturing process. The objects can include a plurality of layers of a polymeric material that includes a copolyester ether. The copolyester ether can include units of a diacid component and units of a glycol component. In some implementations, the units of the diacid component can be derived from at least one aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. Further, in some illustrative examples, the units of the glycol component can be derived from an aliphatic glycol and a polyalkylene ether glycol. In some cases, the polymeric material can also include a thermoplastic elastomer and a resin component.

  • Publication number: 20140292198
Abstract: An illumination system which houses LEDs on Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) in a lightweight, metal or plastic housing that can be configured as a stand-alone interior lighting fixture or retrofitted to a common two, three, or four tube fluorescent drop in a ceiling (troffer) light fixture. The system can also be configured as an emergency/security/night light.

  • Publication number: 20130016510
Abstract: An illumination module that can be retrofitted to a common cobra head and shoebox style street and parking lot pole mounted light housings. This module can reduce the energy requirements by as much as 85%. The module also eliminates the typical required heat sinks. A self contained insect repulsion module that is “insect-tuned” is provided. This repulsion module is set at a frequency that discourages any infestation. A back-up photocell module turns the light “OFF” when the ambient light is above a certain threshold if the primary photocell fails. A lens housing structure substantially reduces extraneous upward and side illumination. The module can be retrofitted using only two simple steps, taking only about ten minutes using only common hand tools.

  • Patent number: 7659701
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a primary power supply having an input, an output and a mode selection input. The mode selection input is operative to switch the power supply between a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation. While in the first mode of operation voltage is regulated within a predefined criterion. While in the second mode of operation, voltage at the output is allowed to vary beyond the predefined criteria.

  • Patent number: 4621024
Abstract: A process for preparing a metal-coated hollow microsphere comprising the combination of steps of: (a) vigorously admixing a major quantity of hollow cenospheres/microspheres with a thermo-setting binder adhesive until the cenospheres are wet-out; (b) slowly adding metal flakes to the thus wet-out cenospheres of step (a) until the wet-out cenospheres are fully coated with the metal flakes; (c) binding the metal flakes to the said wet-out cenospheres by slowly increasing the temperature of the metal coated wet-out cenospheres from step (b), the temperature being raised up to about 350.degree. F.; and (d) the metal-coated cenospheres of step (c) are intermittently admixed in the absence of any further heating until dry. The dry product is ready for packaging.
