    Abstract: A lined, flip top style, paperboard carton with an integral hinged cover, that includes a positive side lock arrangement between the carton body and cover on each side of the carton, wherein each of the minor upper inner closure flaps has a first section secured to the inner surface of the major upper outer closure flaps and a second section depending from the first section and having extending there through an opening adapted to receive and retain a tab, projecting outwardly from the upper edge of a carton liner secured to certain of the carton side walls, to maintain the cover in a closed position upon reclosure of the carton cover after initial opening.

    Abstract: A shaker type reclosable dispensing carton which includes an intermediate top closure flap having poring holes located in a depressible portion of the flap which can be depressed into the plane of an underlying flap, when the carton is reclosed, to allow a hinged outer closure flap pull-up portion to be depressed into the plane of the intermediate flap to effect a friction type locking closure between the intermediate and outer closure flaps.

    Abstract: A one-piece, collapsible, paperboard, dispensing carton having in one side wall adjacent an upper end of the carton an integral pour spout that can be pulled part way out of the carton for dispensing. The pour spout is formed from material of one of the carton side wall panels and has a slit and a projecting tab that are engageable with another carton panel to hold the pour spout in proper open position for dispensing and to prevent the pour spout from being accidentally pulled completely out of the carton.
