  • Patent number: 6460284
Abstract: A bird decoy and method for providing simulated wing motion, or enhancing the appearance of motion of a simulated wing, and comprising a wing simulating structure for simulating wings of a flying bird, the wing simulating structure mounted to a support base for holding the wing simulating structure positioned with an upper surface thereof facing upward at least some of the time. Included is an electrical power source operatively connected for powering an electric illuminant, the illuminant preferably being multiple LEDs positioned to illuminate the upper surface of the wing simulating structure. The electric illuminant further operatively connected to automatic switching circuitry for switching the illuminant cyclically On and then Off in illumination upon the upper surface of the wing simulating structure, thereby providing a cyclical lighter then darker appearance, whereby the bird decoy visually simulates wing motion. The support base preferably includes a duck or goose shaped decoy.

  • Patent number: 5213180
Abstract: A drive chain lubricant applicator comprising an elongated plastic housing having a central chain passageway, and two open ends for ingress and egress of a length of drive chain. The housing is openable with a living hinge so it may be placed around and closed over a drive chain. The interior of the housing is covered with flexible plastic bristles placed to oppose one another and to protrude or extend into the central chain passageway for distributing a lubricant over the drive chain. A flexible length-adjustable cord releasibly secures the lubricator stationary over the drive chain during the application of lubricant. The lubricant is dispensed through a hose from a spray can or squeeze tube and through a hose attachment fitting and distribution manifold on the top of the lubricator and into the interior to be applied to the chain by the plastic bristles as the chain is drawn through the applicator.

  • Patent number: 5013193
Abstract: A plastic closet flange reboring tool having an elongated arbor, a cutting member and two exchangeable non-circular guide members. The arbor having a first end structured of a D-shaped threaded extension, and a second end structured for releasable connection to a rotatable tool chuck. The cutting member is generally concavo-convex in structure with the guide member being generally rectangular and flat with rounded terminal ends. Both the cutting member and guide member have central D-shaped apertures sized for receiving the D-shaped threaded extension of the arbor. Both the cutting member and guide member are releasably adjustably retained on the D-shaped threaded extension of the arbor with threaded nuts.

  • Patent number: 4975001
Abstract: An improved plastic pipe reboring tool having an elongated shank, a generally concavo-convex cutting head, and changeable guide discs effective for cleaning residue glue and plastic from used plastic pipe and fittings so they can be used over again. The reboring tool is operational with both powered and manual chuck rotating devices and can be effectively used on different sizes of plastic pipe.

  • Patent number: 4720219
Abstract: The invention provides a specialty tool useful for cleaning out broken off or cut off plastic pipe and glue in plastic fittings and plastic couplers. An arbor for use with a manual or electrical operated drill is provided with a smooth portion and a threaded portion. The threaded portion terminates in a screw head. Positioned on the arbor adjacent the screw head is an internal guide disc sized to fit inside the broken off or cut off plastic pipe to be removed from the plastic fitting or coupler. A circular cutting head having sharpened protrusions along the circumference is positioned next to the internal guide disc. A retaining nut slipped down over the smooth arbor shaft is tightened down against the circular cutter and retains both the cutter and the internal guide disc firmly on the arbor shaft. The assembled device is useful for the removal of broken off or cut off plastic pipe remaining in an otherwise useable plastic fitting or coupling.
