  • Publication number: 20190265007
Abstract: An adjustable outsert system with a point, a sleeve, and a post when assembled. The system is configured to be inserted into an end of an arrow shaft that comprises a hollow receiving portion. The point can be any type of arrowhead, is axially aligned with the post and the sleeve, and can be of any screw-in type. The post has receiving portion for attachment to the axially aligned end of the point, and comprises provision of cut points to facilitate the adjustment of the weight of the target point to a more precise weight based on the choice of the archer. The sleeve is cylindrical and of a dimension to allow it to be slipped over the end of the post following insertion into the receiving portion of the arrow shaft.

  • Publication number: 20180347955
Abstract: A spinning point for an arrow which is rotatable independently from an arrow shaft to which it is connected. The point has an arrowhead and a sleeve, with the arrowhead and the sleeve axially aligned, and the arrowhead has a main body and a stem which are a unitary element. The stem has a diameter less than the diameter of the second end of the main body of the arrowhead, and extends from the second end of the main body of the arrowhead. The sleeve is cylindrical and is disposed about the stem, and is secured to the stem with a clip. The sleeve is dimensioned to allow it to be slipped over the stem of the arrowhead. The stem and the arrowhead are capable of spinning or rotating together relative to the sleeve and the arrow. The stem may comprise cut points to allow for adjusting the weight of the target point to a more precise weight based on the choice of the archer.
