  • Publication number: 20030067756
Abstract: An electrical service distributions board is described, which is accommodated in a housing, has a feed conductor that is inserted into the housing and has outgoer conductors that lead to individual loads. Electrical service devices such as fault-current circuit breakers, circuit breakers and the like are provided, which can be connected by a plug connection to busbars that are connected to the feed conductor and to the outgoer conductors. A mounting plate for holding the service devices is provided. The busbars are disposed underneath the mounting plate and the mounting plate has openings into which plug elements which are disposed on the service devices can be inserted toward the busbars. The busbars of different phases and feeds and the outgoers are disposed such that they are insulated with respect to one another and from one another in the same planes and are embedded, preferably encapsulated, in an insulating housing.

  • Patent number: 4488763
Abstract: A flat electrical cable (1) is provided with connecting pins (5) by forming a compacted upstanding fold along its length, and by securing this fold by means of a reinforcing strip (6) bonded to and bridging the conductor's insulation. The reinforcing strip may have pegs (7) which pass between the pins (5). The connecting pins can be connected to leads (16) by solder-containing heat-shrunk connecting sleeves (15).

  • Patent number: 4373765
Abstract: A connection for a ribbon cable wherein the cable conductors are bared to provide plug pins insertable into a socket member, and the cable has depressions or through holes between the conductors, which are engaged by projections within guiding extensions of the socket member to anchor the pins in the socket member. The cable may be doubled over and the conductors bared at the resulting U-bend to form a connection at any point along the cable, and the projections preferably enter a plurality of the depressions or holes in a symmetrical pattern from opposite sides of the cable. This connection has the advantages of low total volume and high resistance to mechanical jolting and vibration in use.
