Abstract: Mechanical force transmission for a hand tool having a pivot lever or the like which is adapted to be brought into engagement intermittently with a tool member to be driven and acting on a rod-like or tubular workpiece and a handle connected to the other tool member, the pivot lever being connected at one end via a joint to a rocker and on pivoting engaging with its end face arranged at the end indirectly or directly on the tool member to be driven.

Abstract: A manually operated cutting tool has a pair of handles, a stationary cutting plate to which one handle is attached pivotally and the other one rigidly, and a rotary knife also pivotally attached to the cutting plate. A force-and-motion transmission mechanism between the movable handle, which is mounted with the aid of a pivot pin, and the rotary knife, is defined by an excenter drive comprising a cylindrical block affixed to the movable handle excentrically relative to the pivot pin, and a driving pawl having a circular opening for accommodating said block and a toothing for engagement with a circular row of teeth provided on the outer edge of the rotary knife. The rotary knife has at its inner edge a curvilinear cutting edge which, being generally concave, may have two convex projections, a first one adjacent the end opposite the location of the pivotal attachment, and the other projection, less sharp than the first one, between the first one and the end adjacent the pivotal attachment.

Abstract: A two-armed hand-lever press, particularly for the solderless connecting of electric cables by means of a piece to be pressed, where pressing tool movable in longitudinal direction of the press can be actuated via at least one eccentric by a pawl from a lever arm, has at a part connecting the pressing tool a forward motion stop acting upon the advance movement of the pressing tool.

Abstract: A two-armed lever press for attaching a terminal or coupling sleeve to electrical cables or the like used on an interchangeable die block, preferably of relatively adjustable parts which together define a die cavity which substantially completely embraces the work so that, when pressure is applied the material flow induced in the sleeve can take place in the longitudinal direction only. Because of the heavy stresses involved, the force-transferring zones of the press are equipped with roller and needle bearings at the moving parts.
