  • Patent number: 11959443
Abstract: A filter element for a filter system for filtering a fluid has a filter bellows arranged about a longitudinal axis and enclosing an interior of the filter element. An end disk that is provided with an opening to the interior of the filter element is arranged at the filter bellows. The end disk has a bead that is arranged at the opening to the interior and partially surrounds the opening to the interior. The bead projects outwardly in a direction of the longitudinal axis. The filter system has a housing with a cover and a housing part closable by the cover. The filter element can be exchangeably arranged in the housing. The bead, in a mounted state of the filter element in the housing, engages a complementary receptacle arranged at an inner side of the cover.

  • Publication number: 20220288525
Abstract: A filter element for filtering a fluid has a zigzag-shaped folded filter medium with fold edges neighboring each other. A thread is attached by an adhesive material to the fold edges. The thread is a multiple-wound yarn. In a method for manufacturing the filter element, a thread in the form of a multiple-wound yarn is attached by an adhesive material to fold edges of a zigzag-shaped folded filter material. In the method, the thread is soaked and/or coated with the adhesive material that is in a plastic state. The thread soaked and/or coated with the adhesive material is attached to the fold edges by applying a pressure, and the adhesive material is hardened.

  • Publication number: 20210121807
Abstract: An air filter element for an air filter for an internal combustion engine is provided with a filter medium surrounding annularly a longitudinal axis of the air filter element. A first end disk is provided at a first end face of the air filter element, wherein the filter medium is embedded in the first end disk at the first end face. A clean air seal is configured to seal a raw side of the air filter against a clean side of the air filter. The clean air seal and the first end disk are embodied together as one piece. The clean air seal protrudes continuously radially past the filter medium. A filter housing for the air filter element is provided with a filter pot and a cover and has a clean air outlet and a raw air inlet arranged at a side wall of the filter pot.

  • Publication number: 20210086119
Abstract: A filter element for filtering a fluid has a filter bellows arranged about the longitudinal axis of the filter element and enclosing an interior of the filter element. A first end disk open toward the interior is arranged at a first end of the filter element. A second closed end disk is arranged at a second end of the filter element. The second end is oppositely positioned to the first end in a direction of the longitudinal axis. The filter bellows has folds with radially outer fold edges positioned on an outer circumferential surface of the filter bellows. The filter bellows is provided with a notch at least at one of the first and second ends. The notch has an axial length in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The axial length is shorter than a length extension of the filter bellows in the direction of the longitudinal axis.

  • Patent number: 9205358
Abstract: A filter element has a filter body with a longitudinal axis, the filter body having a first end face and a second end face opposite the first end face. A first end plate is arranged at the first end face and has an open or closed configuration. A second end plate is arranged at the second end face. A support tube is arranged concentrically to the longitudinal axis and extends between the first and second end plates. The first end plate is reinforced by a reinforcement ring. The reinforcement ring has first openings that are visible from the exterior of the reinforcement ring, wherein the first openings enable a filling level check of a filling level of a material that connects the first end plate with the first end face.
