  • Patent number: 9725277
Abstract: A take-up winding machine continuously coils a plurality of threads. The take-up winding machine has a plurality of rotatably mounted winding turrets which, in each case, support two protruding winding spindles and which are held beside one another in a machine frame so as to be spaced apart by a pitch. The take-up winding machine further has a plurality of traversing units and a plurality of contact rollers which together with the winding turrets form a plurality of coiling positions. The winding turrets are assigned one common turret drive. The winding turrets are configured so as to be drivable in the same direction. The contact rollers and the traversing units are held on the machine frame along one machine longitudinal side so as to be symmetrical to the pitch of the winding turrets.

  • Patent number: 9365388
Abstract: An apparatus for continuously winding up a thread is described and includes two winding spindles that are held in a projecting manner on a rotary table and are associated with spindle drives to allow the thread to be alternately wound to form a bobbin. The rotary table can be activated in order to exchange the winding spindles between a winding region and a changing region. A moveable changing device transfers the thread between the winding spindles and during the exchange of the winding spindles, guides the thread between the winding spindles for transferring to a catching device on one of the winding spindles. The changing device has at least one deflecting thread guide and a movable feeding thread guide, which can be positioned in a deflecting position, the thread being guided at a distance from the winding spindle which receives the thread.

  • Patent number: 9309608
Abstract: A method and a device for producing a crimped multifilament thread are described. A multiplicity of filaments are extruded by means of a spinning machine, cooled and subsequently treated by a drawing device and a crimping device to form a crimped thread. Before the thread is wound up to form a bobbin, a multiplicity of intertwining knots is produced on the crimped thread by a treatment device. In order to obtain defined patterns of the intertwining knots within the thread, a pulse sequence of compressed air pulses at a predefined frequency is directed at the thread. The treatment device has a controllable blowing means.

  • Publication number: 20150218733
Abstract: A melt-spinning process and a melt-spinning apparatus produce a crimped yarn. By means of a spinning device, a filament bundle is generated from a thermoplastic polymer, is drawn after cooling and is compressed into a yarn plug in a stuffing chamber. The yarn plug is opened up into a crimped yarn and wound into a bobbin. In order to obtain as high a crimp resistance of the yarn as possible, amorphous fractions in the molecular structure of the yarn material are avoided after drawing. This is achieved by means of relaxation treatment after drawing and before compression, a minimum yarn pull force of >0.05 cN/dtex with a relaxation temperature in the range of 120° C. to 245° C. being maintained.

  • Patent number: 8523100
Abstract: A bobbin holder for tensioning a bobbin tube and receiving a wound thread bobbin is presented. The bobbin holder includes a rotatable drive shaft that is connected to a drive with a bearing end thereof and that has a tensioning device for tensioning a bobbin tube on a tensioning end. The tensioning device includes a plurality of bobbin tubes on the periphery of the drive shaft and interposed tensioning rings. A tensioning piston guided on the free end of the drive shaft acts upon at least one of the bobbin tubes to deform the tensioning rings. In order to allow the use of high fatigue strength materials for the tensioning ring, the tensioning ring includes a continuous separating slot on the periphery, which extends between two opposite ring ends of the tensioning ring, deformation being essentially achieved by an expansion of the tensioning ring.

  • Patent number: 7845923
Abstract: A spinning, drawing and texturing machine for the production of curled threads includes a spinning unit and multiple machine modules associated with the spinning unit. Each of the machine modules has multiple processing assemblies for drawing and curling one of the threads, and a spooling unit for winding the thread. The machine modules positioned next to one another form a longitudinal side of the machine. The processing assemblies and the spooling unit are arranged among each other at one of the machine modules such that a narrow machine partition (T) in a range of <800 mm occurs on the longitudinal side of the machine. The spinning unit has one or more spinnerets and one spinning duct within the machine partition (T) per machine module. The spinnerets are held in rows parallel to the longitudinal side of the machine.

  • Publication number: 20100297442
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a multi-colored composite thread made of a plurality of extruded colored filament bundles. To this end, a plurality of different dyed polymer melts is generated and extruded in parallel through a plurality of spinnerets to form the colored filament bundles. The colored filament bundles are brought together as a mixed color to form the composite thread. In order to generate a color pattern or to correct the mixed color of the composite thread, according to the invention, the generation of the dyed polymer melts is modified during the extrusion of the filament bundle in order to modify the mixed color of the composite thread.
