  • Patent number: 7780348
Abstract: The invention describes a temperature sensor for a resistance thermometer comprising an electric measuring resistor (3) the resistance material of which consists either of a ceramic material or of a metallic resistance material in combination with a ceramic or a mineral carrier, a protective tube (2) comprising a closed tip (2b) and a rear end that provides an access to the inner space of the protective tube (2) and that contains the measuring resistor (3) closely adjacent the closed tip (2b) of the protective tube (2), at least one supply line (5) that is brought out through the rear end of the protective tube (2), and an electrically insulating filler (6) based on a ceramic or a mineral material that fills the space between the protective tube (2) on the one side and the measuring resistor (3) and its at least one supply line (4, 5) on the other side. It is provided according to the invention that the packing density of the filler (6) has a gradient in lengthwise direction of the protective tube (2).

  • Patent number: 7650809
Abstract: An electrical steering system for a motor vehicle, having an electric motor having a worm gear which is made up of a worm and a worm wheel, coupled to an input shaft, having a ring gear, worm wheel forming one of the two coupling parts, that are to be coupled to each other, of an elastic compensation coupling whose other coupling part is connected, rotatably fixed, to the input shaft. The two coupling parts are coupled to each other only by one or by a plurality of elastic spacers.

  • Patent number: 7228730
Abstract: A pressure-measuring glow plug for a diesel engine with a plug body (3, 4) for insertion into a cylinder of the diesel engine, a heating rod (1) which is arranged in the plug body (3, 4), and a pressure sensor, which is arranged under an initial tension between the heating rod (1) and the plug body (3, 4), in such a way that the pressure sensor (7) is acted upon by the pressure prevailing in the combustion chamber of the cylinder. The heating rod (1) transmits the pressure in the combustion chamber of the cylinder to the pressure sensor (7) and is arranged so as to be displaceable in a sliding manner in the axial direction relative to the plug body (3, 4). A seal in the form of a bellows-shaped component (2) is provided between the heating rod (1) and the plug body (3, 4).

  • Publication number: 20040060379
Abstract: The invention relates to an electrical steering device for a motor vehicle, comprising an electromotor with a worm gear. Said worm gear consists of a worm and a worm wheel (14) which is coupled to an input shaft and which has a gear rim (23). The worm wheel (14) forms one of the two coupling parts of an elastic compensation coupling (14, 16) that are to be intercoupled, the other coupling part (16) being connected to the input shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The two coupling parts (14, 16) are intercoupled by one or more elastic spacers (17) only.
