    Abstract: A conveyor-belt drum comprises a cylindrical drum shell surrounding a shaft and carried by a pair of spaced-apart support disks mounted on this shaft. Between the outer periphery of each disk and the inner surface of the drum there is provided a wedge member which carries an elastic insert urged against either the inner surface of the shell or the outer surface of the disk. The outer surface of the disk and the inner surface of the wedge member have frustoconical peripheries along which they are relatively displaceable by a screw.
